Mythril rod would also be a good sub for aerith if over ob6 and you need pdef for a fight. It does cost a lot to cast but with the insane buff duration she has you’ll be able to keep it up for a long time.
Personally I see a lot of value in pulling both a physical and magical arcanum for each element which made Tifas set a no brainer because the devs tend to make content that heavily favors one or the other (shiva ex comes to mind). I skipped the first banner because it seemed redundant for my account seeing as I have guide Tifa for physical non elemental and murasame cloud. People were saying Zack power creeped cloud but I disagree. The longer a non limited weapon is out the more likely you are to get copies and increase its power over time therefore making it competitive to Zack (irrelevant point if your whale for OB10). Hard edge is also a thing and I have OB7 arctic star with yuffies debuff outfit… and now Aeriths new weapon which I feel you only need a few copies of.
At this point in time, being a day one player, I'm only pulling for weapons that seem they will get me past B70 in the fucking tower. I have teams that are upwards of 320k power and that behemoth fight is still broken as fuck.
Did you pull for silver collar and sephrioth latest wind weapon? My account not day 1 but if you have tifa and aerith like me, they can both duo it with the right gear
@@unskillfullymasterful I've got every set up imaginable that says I SHOULD be able to beat it but then it goes into two phases where you have to knock off 5 circle runes in less than a second. It's bullshit.
@codynoth4183 i beat it with tifa motor drive + ob6 amarant and aerith floral rod + mythril rod setup. It was under 2 min fight , it's somewhere in my list of videos lol. Yea it's still a very annoying boss, and I needed to build both my limit breaks before or it was a wipe
@@unskillfullymasterful Ahhh yeah I don't have that ob6 amarant sadly and the floral rod is 5 stars at best for me. So it's just a gimmick fight that can't be done without specific gear. Kind of shitty game design.
@codynoth4183 you can beat it without my setup lol, I already beat it with both my f2p accounts . No gimmicks, I didn't keep my f2p videos cus I thought everyone already cleared it by now. The sigil break you just have to remember not to heal until you break sigils
One thing that players misunderstand with Aerith weapon is the HP requirement. Which is nonsense. Even if it's Matt or another character, you will normally use Mdef and Pdef buffs at Full HP or near full HP, so with this Aerith weapon, she became a great DPS support. Even if you don't have Physical team and needed Mdef buff only, you're increasing everyone's PATK with the new weapon which increases significantly your LB and Summon for "each" character. Imagine if you have a Physical team. It's a great weapon.
So far is my fave weapon from all the crossover ones. Probably one of my fave weapons in the whole game!! She only needs a weapon or limit break to remove PATK up or MATK up and she would be unstoppable. Yes soooo! - Electrocannon (Barret), MATK + Mag Ability Potency - Feathered Gloves (Tifa). ATK + Boost Water Pot - Pressure Ridge (Zack). 62 PATK + Ice Pot - Mythril Type 0 (Seph). HP + Mag Ability Pot - Ceremonial Sword (Zack). PATK + Phys Ability Pot In general I’d recommend weapons that would always be useful as sub weapons, for example - Ceremonial Sword from Zack or Ultimatic from Glenn. - Mad Minute from Lucia or Twinkling Star from Zack are extremely useful as well!

Aerith`s weapon makes obsolete Cloud`s fresh new weapon, Ceremonial and Arctic Star. If you have any of those at high OB level - i would suggest to skip. Tifa`s is really a weaker magical version of Zack`s. Sephiroth will soon get his datamined Thunderstorm set which will be The magic lightning dps go to. Overall i didnt expect this but I will skip this one - nothing groundbreaking here and we know the Ladies will get their turn on the Limit Break banners in 3 months - probably will cover Wind, Earth, Lightning and pure physical AOE as we got Fire, Ice, water and Magic damage AOE in the 6 month one.
I wouldn’t say it makes clouds weapon obsolete. On the patk buff side yes, but it still has the pdef down which can be helpful depending on what else you’re bringing to the fight, and the r abilities alone are great for cloud. Without glav or zidane sword you don’t have great off hand weapon options for cloud that help boost his overall physical damage or survivability in any situation. at best you’re main handing one elemental weapon and off handing another elemental weapon for the p attack with a wasted second r ability value unless a crisis dungeons needs both of those elements.

If I didn't stock up like a madman on aeriths parts, I woulda left it at ob0. 4 atb for aoe mid phys atk buff is insane
