The dresser box, with the metal trim, is Imperial, line #699 Mt.Vernon/Washington, 3 1/4" x 2 3/4" Puff Box. The box was also sold as a cigarette box with stacking ashtrays. Circa 1930. The metal trim was added by another company. I had to consult Myrna and Bob Garrison's book " Imperial's Boudoir, Etcetera..." to document it.
Hey hon!! You are so darn lucky to live on the East coast where all these vintage treasures end up on the Goodwill shelf. I grew up in Baltimore, but live in the West now and we hardly ever see anything older then 1950s at thrift stores or estate sales. It sucks, but us thrifters wait for the holy grail of estate sales. 😅
I admired Art Deco all the way back in the days of the dinosaurs when I would watch old movies as a child just because everything was so pretty in them. The stacking teapot is wonderful but so were the elephants!
There's metal plates in the shape of the bottom of the iron to set it on. I'm not sure what year they came out for use but I've seen them at estate auctions and thrift stores.
I always love the metal pieces cocktail shakers ,dishes etc but that iron I have never seen anything like it , fabulous thank you for bringing these treasures for us to drool over.🥳👏😀👍
No but I do love Leo Reisman very much. He had a wonder sweet orchestra. The version I used is the lesser know Bill Scotti Hotel Montclair Orchestra from 1933.
Hi Scott, do you know why the soup making video and the one before it had “ comments turned off “. This has happened a few times before and only on your channel. Is it something you do, or utube for some reason? ❄️🇨🇦❄️

I really like that dresser box
Excellent. Thank you......gee you and I just love our reference books.....don't we!
@@jencocuzzaakaitalianjersey609 it originally came with two matching square scent bottles too.
@@oldcuriosityshop265 sure do! Much better than people's opinions and misinformation on the internet.
My Grandma had a metal, iron -shaped stand that held an iron to keep from scorching anything.
I have my Granmother’s plates and lamp from the 1920’s plus antiques my Parents collected.
YOu do find the prettiest things and put them together so well. The little cigarett box cleaned up nice.

I’m swooning over that iron. I also would use it. Those candlesticks are fantastic. What a great table tonight!
I love art deco
It is not really my style, but I just love that stacking tea set! Great collection of beautiful things, I hope that the make a good profit.
Over the top today! Call me crazy but I would happily iron every day with the iron you have. I’ve never seen anything like that & it looks brand new
I love clear glass - my favorite the candle holders ❤
Love that coffee pot set!
Love everything
There's a old curiosity shop once in awhile i go by there❤Liking some of these things 😊
The plate with the lady on it
That iron is epic. I have appreciation for some of this art deco style . That box is very Ark of the Covenant. I like it.
Wonderful finds!. I watched you find some in your previous thrifting video. The deco iron is cool, as is the stacking MIJ teapot set. I love those.
Candy or nutts or chicken butts? Good display, Scott. Art Deco all the way. Blesses be.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
I cannot believe the most authentic things you find from past eras, you are so durn lucky.
Loved the iron!
Love the stacking teapot set and of course the glass vase, mixing geometric and floral, but somehow it works.
I too would like to feel like Myrna Loy and William Powell :)
I love the music you play while perusing the wonderful finds! Thank you!
So many cool things. Think I like the clock the best. The teapot w/the creamer and sugar stacked on top was pretty neat too.
Beautiful collection of Art Deco on that table Scott. I have to say that iron is a work of art…I love its design.🖤🇨🇦

Party pooper was a nice phrase for what my grandma had to say about Herbert Hoover… and Calvin Coolidge 🤣🤣
I love the metal dishes or cups with stems. They look like sherbet dishes to me. Lots of good items!
Lovely.
I always love the metal pieces cocktail shakers ,dishes etc but that iron I have never seen anything like it , fabulous thank you for bringing these treasures for us to drool over.🥳👏😀👍
The cobalt blue cocktail shaker is very beautiful......wonderful Art Deco collection.....thanks Scott.......
Love the dish
Love the music!
Wonderful pieces! I wonder if the iron had a metal underplate it which would be the reason it doesn’t stand. Just a thought.
Nice to hear the clock. The tea and coffee tins, fab and the cordial/cocktail glasses.
Wonderful items Scott! 👍🏻😉🕊️
Love the candle sticks!
It has to be the candlestickes so elegant 💖💋

Scott, The song is Thanks 1933. Is this the Leo Reisman version?
No but I do love Leo Reisman very much. He had a wonder sweet orchestra. The version I used is the lesser know Bill Scotti Hotel Montclair Orchestra from 1933.
Wow super collection
I think I have a vintage iron. I have had it for at least 25 years and it is in mint practically new condition. Want me to mail it to you, Scott?!
Oh my gosh I love everything lol lol
Wonder which company in old Sandusky, Ohio made that iron. I’m going to look into it.
👋🙌👍
