The next thing he knew she was recommending him to a new counselor. So her comment just came out of left field.
In my opinion this is the most happy's, and the scariest scene ever. Happy for John, scary for Iris. Zoe says it all in episode 19 same season, Its not you I'm worried about. You know how this ends "John".
I felt they did Iris' character a big disservice in the final season by writing her out. I really wanted to see her get read in on the Team's purpose, and see her reactions to Reese's past (and present in his "side job")
I agree - but with only 13 episodes in the final series, it was an understatement to say that it was fast-paced!! Their relationship might have continued for longer if there were 22/23 episodes; I, for one, was rather pleased that nothing untoward happened to Iris, anyway :)
