If Harry Kane starts, the first half will likely be lengthy. His performances have become less convincing as the tournament progresses, especially considering his struggles against Slovenia. Spain's strong ball retention makes it hard to see how he'll influence the game. If Spain fails to score two goals before halftime, there might be a glimmer of hope for us, assuming Gareth continues to rely on luck.
On paper England actually have the better team and squad. If they can finally play to their level they can win it, but I think Southgate will set England up to contain the spanish and hit them on the counter. He'll probably use late subs to stretch them at the death, which has worked well for england so far.
England get outplayed, second half be a shxt show. GS not managed the minutes for the players got two lucky last minute goals. Gass second half cause players been overplayed. See this is the problem with people, you look at names and come to a conclusion. Spain is built with players that complement each other all around from top to bottom however England just has names which is why most times in this tournament we have had to bank on individual brilliance and not necessarily beautiful team play, sometimes the England players struggle to even play with each other whilst the Spanish players on the other hand seem to be making each other better. I do think England will win, I hope so but make no mistake the only way England can win this is by playing dirty 😂and just get over the finishing line otherwise going toe to toe with Spain at this moment with our Elite manager in the coaching pit that screams disaster

Man United in 2008 and Chelsea in 2012, so i think England will win this Euros, their first title since 1966!!!! This is not the Spain team of old who hoard possession and give up almost nothing. Both Croatia and Germany had more possession than them and France had more shots on target. One thing England have understood is that winning these tournaments is usually (but not always) about resolute defending and being ruthless in moments. You don't need to be great the whole game, you just need to stifle the opposition and stay in it. There are a few reasons why I think England will win the tournament: 1) Pedigree - the team has been to a final recently and have (hopefully) learned from that. 2) Talent - from 1 to 11, you would have to say that England have the better squad on paper. With a few exceptions their talent level is a notch above. 3) Resiliency - they've shown repeatedly that they can stay in games, minimize opposition chances, shut down games, and ride waves of attack. 4) Squad depth - no team has as much and as varied talent on the bench as England, something Southgate has put to good use (mostly). 5) Penalties - if it goes to penalties, you'd have to favor England. 6) - Resolute desire to win - this team is packed full of winners and players of enormous character - people like Guehi, Rice and Trippier. These are club captains, leaders, who are on a singular mission. 7) - Ability to shut down Spanish threats - Walker and Saka against Williams and Guehi and Trippier against Lamal are going to be very tough match-ups for Spain. We saw with the Netherlands that Gakpo was totally neutralized, and same thing with Vargas against Switzerland. Few would disagree that Spain without their wingers would be underdogs to England.
