I'm Not A Hebrew Root Member, A 7th Day Adventist, Or A Jehovah's Witness And I Don't Celebrate The Roman Catholic Holiday Christmas, I'm A Born Again Christian. I Ask All Christians Who Celebrate Christmas, Can You Do It Without Putting Up Trees, Lights On Your House, Giving Gifts, Singing Songs That Don't Mention Jesus, Putting Up Mistletoes Etc? If Christmas Is Supposed To Be A Christian Holiday, How Come So Many People Who Aren't Christian Celebrate It ? Anytime Christians And Unbelievers Are Celebrating The Same Holidays, Something Is Fishy And A Red Flag Goes Up For Me.
I stopped celebrating Christmas a few years ago. It was my favorite holiday. The pagan roots are too obvious and it reminds me of the golden calf event where God was very angry.

I got turned off to Christmas for both the commercialization and incorrect Biblical interpretations. Christmas as a pegan fedtival? I tend to say, "Who cares?" It also bothers me how people want to leave Jesus in the manger ... until next year and again again their religious time stamp. As an aside, please I asking you and your listeners to pray for our son Abraham. He was a born again Christian, but during the past five years got involved with the Hebrews Roots crowd. Earlier this week he said he was sick of their infighting and does not want anything to do with God. You can probably guess the details, but the concerning part is out there. Thank all y'all for your time and consideration. Thank you for your lesson here. Very informative.
I just want to say THANK YOU! I have been afraid to celebrate Christmas for several years because of everything that I have heard about pagan holidays and what the HRM is teaching. Something did not sit right in my spirit, that rejecting Christmas was the right thing to do. I have been so troubled by it. And after listening to your video I finally feel relief and free to celebrate my savior! Thank you, again.
Thank you for sharing that with me, Katie! Yes, there is so much freedom in Christ. “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” -Galatians 5:1 Shalom, Rob
A big red flag for me was when people would act disgusted that I was going to help wrap presents for people in the community at our Sunday church. Like that was unclean. I know there's probably a better way of spreading the gospel than through Christmas presents, but Christmas is the time kids can get a need fulfilled for clothing and basic essentials in our city. It was just like dang, you're willing to forego the care for other humans because you despise Christmas so much.
I agree with you Amanda. I practice the Hebrew Roots of our faith but am too a little baffled by others that want nothing to do with the holiday. Never-the-less, every sect seems to have their "red flags" so please do not let that deter you from taking another look into Hebrew Roots. Good Bless and Merry Christmas from a Hebrew Roots Christian.
Its a Satanic holiday that the catholic church Christianized. This site needs to be called, Defending the roman catholic roots of Christianity, Jesus never celebrated Hanukkah, He just happen to be in Jerusalem when it was going on. Show me the verses where He tells us to celebrate it and lite candles.
That is great that you are helping others and spread the gospel during this time but the Lord wants you to do this ALL the time. If we just wait for a holiday or a day that is called hypocrisy.
I felt like I needed to not put up a tree and lights and presents in order to prove that I can go to the Bible and Jesus with Joy even without those things.
Exactly. Here in our local community one of the churches runs a soup kitchen and homeless support...every year for Christmas they throw a big Christmas lunch, give out Christmas hampers for people in need and kids can choose presents provided by the local churches and community... If this isn't to the glory of God then what is? Can Atheists/Pagans share the same love on Christmas, based on what? Christmas is a great season for reaching out, more than any other 'season'...if people's hearts are so religious to see this, they are deceiving themselves.
Interesting article in the Winter 2022 Biblical Archaeology Review reveals that an early Christian writer, Hippolytus, A.D. 222, believed that Christ's conception was March 25 which is also the same day as His death and Passover that year. Adding 9 months gives you December 25 as the calculated birth date. Christians were commemorating Christ's birth on December 25 from very early on. The Roman pagan feast of Sol on December 25 was put into place by Emperor Aurelian no earlier than A.D. 274, about 50 years after Christian's were observing Jesus birth on December 25. The argument that December 25 was a pagan feast that was adopted by Christians is incorrect.
OH pagan Christmas tree Oh pagan Christmas tree you're a worthless pagan idol, They cut you down in a forest deck you out in gold and silver, OH pagan Christmas tree Oh pagan Christmas you're a Satanic pagan idol. Jeremiah 10;2-3
@@Jeffmacaroni1542 Actually the fur evergreen tree was not the tree of choice for most pagans. The tree they worshiped was the oak tree. The story of Saint Boniface (who was English) cutting down Donar's Oak illustrates the pagan practices in 8th century among the Germans. The pagans were about to sacrifice children under the tree when he chopped it down stopping the sacrifice. A later folk version of the story adds the detail that an evergreen tree grew in place of the felled oak, telling them about how its triangular shape reminds humanity of the Trinity and how it points to heaven. Mistletoe on the other hand, was used by pagans in various ways. Druids held it in high regard and the tree it grew on, most likely oak.
@@Jeffmacaroni1542 Oops! You missed the part in Jeremiah where the "craftsman shapes it with his chisel" (v3) into an idol (v5). You're just supposed to leave it as a tree and put pretty decorations on it. ;-) Rob
The date of Christmas comes from early traditions that a Martyr would die on the same day they were conceived. The early Church believed this day was March 25th. A little bit of math and here we are.
I find that some Christians' feel stronger about observing "Christ's Mass" than than the Hebrew Roots crowd feel about the Biblical festivals. They make it a holy day and even use "do not forsake the gathering" Scripture against us who feel uncomfortable with the idea of making a big deal of something not commanded in Scripture. I'm not HB or JW, just an ordinary follower of Jesus who feels uncomfortable with the idea. "Christ's Mass" is a fairly new "festival" in western Christianity and I don't like to be put under bondage to something that nor Jesus nor the Apostles prescribed.
It is not a pagan holiday and anyone who has a proper understanding of its history knows this. It is a Christian holiday through and through. Of course different cultures who have converted will celebrate it in different ways. We are not bound to Hebrew Culture in the way Hebrew Roots individuals would like you to believe. Why didn't God make Christmas a feast day to be observed? As previously stated, God only establishes days with his people. As for Christmas, everyone celebrates it: religion groups, Gentiles, Pagans, and people who do not even have a relationship with God through Yeshua, people who are not God's people, people who do not even serve God. Do you, as a Gentile believer, wish "Merry Christmas" to those who do not serve God, and if so, why? What exactly do you mean when you say "Merry Christmas" to them? The wise men came from their journey to worship, not celebrate or commemorate Christ's birth. When God appoints days to be held, though people celebrate those days, the main purpose is to remember what he has done, and on those days, one bows down before him to worship him for what he has done. Rome, the Roman Emperors, and the Council of Nicaea wanted nothing to do with God's people, God's laws, the Sabbath, and God's feasts, and though it's true that you won't find Christmas on a pagan's holiday calendar, Christianity has stolen their day and made it the day that Yeshua was born; in other words, Christmas derives from the pagan's day, and that day was established to get the pagans to convert to Christianity.
Hello, Sam! *Sam: Why didn't God make Christmas a feast day to be observed?* I don’t know. The Bible doesn’t tell us. It also it doesn’t tell us why God didn’t make the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) a feast day to be observed. But Jesus observed it anyway (John 10:22-23). *Sam: As for Christmas, everyone celebrates it…* I am not sure if you watched this video, Sam, but in it, I only defend the _Christian_ celebration of the birth of Christ, not the secular celebration of Christmas. *Sam: Do you, as a Gentile believer, wish "Merry Christmas" to those who do not serve God, and if so, why?* Of course! To be friendly and to speak the name of Christ and remind them of the season we are in. *Sam: Christianity has stolen their day and made it the day that Yeshua was born* Yes! Isn’t that beautiful? “Pagan” things have no power of their own. Anything can be commandeered and used to bring glory to God. The bottom line is this. What we fix our minds and hearts on is what we worship. And if our hearts and our minds are focused on the birth of Christ and the incredible lengths that God went to in order to save his people-which is what the Christmas story is all about-we're certainly not participating in pagan rituals. R.
@@TheBiblicalRoots Rob, you said that Yeshua celebrated the Feast of Dedication, and you quoted John 10:22-23. First, that chapter does not insinuate at all that Yeshua celebrated that day. He was actually going to be stoned that day; what a feast! This goes to show that you cherry pick, did you read my previous posts where I explained this? I'm sure you didn't, which is why you are commenting on it now. Rob, about my comment about how everyone celebrates Christmas, you asked if I saw your video. Yes, and? Another thing is that everyone is celebrating it as stated, but God only appoints days that only his people celebrate to remember what he has done for them, and this is scriptural. Rob, you said to wish others a Merry Christmas, to be friendly, to speak Christ's name, and to remind them of the season we're in. Of course you do that, and many Christians say the same. By the way, that is the first time I've heard anyone make that statement; is that your version of the gospel? Rob, Christmas may be about the birth of Christ, but God appointed his own days. By the way, in some ways, Christmas has resembled a pagan holiday in which everyone does whatever they want. Today, while sitting down, something came to mind, and I started thinking about it and went back to something I wrote about two years ago. It has to do with who Yeshua is, the Sabbath, and Christmas, and I'll post it today. I hope you read it,
@@TheBiblicalRoots ,.....Sorry, but you are 100% incorrect with all this christmas teaching. Jesus in no way whatsoever was celebrating or endorsing the feast of dedication because he was there at that moment. To whom did Yeshua say, "Whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven?" Did Yeshua tell Peter to give that key to anyone else? Peter opened doors of opportunity, but where in the Scriptures does he say he established the Feast of the Nativity? In the Church of Constantinople, the Feast of the Nativity was established in the late 370s. You took what was established 370 years later and applied it to Matthew 16:19 to justify yourself so you can continue holding a day that God did not establish. Like I stated, when one tries to interpret the scriptures, one tends to distort the truth of God's word.
Jesus wasn’t born on what we call Christmas today. Why celebrate a holiday that was once illegal to celebrate as well? It was illegal due to it being pagan. Putting up a Christmas tree has nothing to do with Jesus. Same with Santa as well. There’s literally no reason to put up a Christmas tree to celebrate Christ. It does have pagan roots and that’s enough for me to know it won’t be in my house. You’re basically saying “it doesn’t mean that to me.” BUT, I counter that with.. What does it mean to God? If you truly do not believe in following the feast days in the Old Testament and that we are in a new covenant with God. Then surely you believe that God does not command just one day for us to remember Him. Everyday is a day of remembrance. Birthdays are actually rooted in paganism as well. Therefore you using other celebrated days to justify your claim is not valid. While usually I don’t comment on videos and I know that we are all in different stages of our walks with Christ. I do know that what you are preaching is wrong and misleading.

Excellent teaching. I was in JW's for many years. Once God showed me in Scripture how they were a false religion, I was able to celebrate Christmas once again. Joy filled my heart as I was able, with other Christians, to celebrate the Word become flesh. That is what it was then and what it is now. I use to send Christmas cards and looked at it as an opportunity to announce the "real" reason for Christmas.
Not true, the bible shows not to do as the Heathens/pagans. Do not listen to men, but to God. I prayed to God the creator wether Christmas was to be celebrated - God said NO and blessed me the moment I said NO to the devil. Amén

@@josueg88209 why would we need an exact date? And just because God doesn’t tell us to celebrate his birth, doesn’t mean we can’t. He certainly doesn’t say we shouldn’t. And celebrating Christmas (the true meaning of it) we are worshiping God. Which we are to do.
I'm a born-again Christian, don't belong to the Hebrew-roots - I don't celebrate Christmas or any Christian Holydays simply because it's not in the scriptures. Brother Rob, my latest question involves the 3rd temple rebuild. Jews will restart sacrificing animals. People I know in Hebrew Roots are happy and excited about that. They say there are other blood sacrifices in Leviticus to be done besides Jesus blood sacrifice. 🧐I think it’s the slippery slope to deception. Will you share your thoughts on the third temple and sacrifices restarting?
I also would like to hear Rob's teaching on the temple as it relates to Hebrew Roots friends. I believe it is actually it is already built and is being built. My thoughts: 1st Tabernacle the Tent of Meeting 1st Solomon's Temple 2nd Zerubbabel's Temple 3rd Herod's Temple rebuild and enlargement of Zerubbabel's 4th Pentecost, the Body of Christ Temple. "Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?" 1 Cor 3:16. This is the temple that exists now and is continuing to be built. Interesting that this temple came into being and was sanctified (tongues of fire on their heads) before Herod's temple was destroyed. This should come as a surprise to Hebrew Roots friends. 5th A future temple built in Jerusalem that will be the abomination of desolation or Antichrist's temple. 6th A future temple in the Millennium as outlined in Ezekiel 40-48. 7th There is no 7th temple as the New Jerusalem has no temple Rev 21:22.

Rob, although you make compelling arguments for celebrating Christians, I believe it is done in a fleshly manner. Let me ask you a question: And please don't bring up that Yeshua celebrated the Feast of Rededication as though Yeshua was celebrating the Maccabees' triumph over the Syrians. Solomon performed the Feast of Dedication, which was written in the Word of God. What is the point of commemorating Yeshua's birthday? Does it benefit Christians? How?
Christmas is an annual reminder of what God did for us. When we celebrate and remember that God became a man, it reminds us of the lengths that He will go to to save His people. It keeps the story of Jesus close to our hearts. And remembering what God has done for His people is a very biblical posture. God knows that we flawed human beings quickly forget the things He's done for us. This is behind the reason He gave the Passover, it's a remembrance. It's also why he gave the Saturday Sabbath to Israel. It's a remembrance. It's why he gave the "bow in the clouds" after the Flood. It's a remembrance. In fact, the miraculous incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ, which was a fulfillment of prophecy and the beginning of the messianic age, is such a significant part of the Bible's storyline of salvation, that it seems odd and empty not to commemorate it every year. Shalom, Rob
@@TheBiblicalRoots So, what you are telling me is that the Christians around the world were not and are still not satisfied with the day that Yeshua appointed to remember him, so you came up with another day that would satisfy your time with what he was going to do? Isn't that what you are doing with God's appointed time for His people, brushing aside His "Holy Feast" mandate for your own appointed "holiday"? Let the words of Yeshua remind you of the day that He designated on a "Sabbath" day to remember Him, "Pesach." There are two reminders for celebrating Passover. The first reminder is what God did to deliver Israel from slavery; the second is found in the words of the Messiah, "Do this in remembrance of Me." What is to be done to remember his existence? Take the cup and the bread. So, there is an underlining reason as to why the Christians celebrate Yeshua's existence on another day; could it be that God's chosen people, Israel, celebrate Passover on that day, and Christians want their own identity as God's people aside from Israel? Consider why Yeshua mentioned the cup and bread on that particular day. Passover", As a result, everyone who took the cup and bread would be one with Him, just as He is one with the Father.

To be fair - not only HRM or SDA do not celebrate Christmas, as far as I’m aware puritans didn’t celebrate it either, because they didn’t find enough scriptural support for such celebrations and they thought that Christmas had pagan roots. It's the same thing with Easter they said 3 days and three nights you can't get 3 days and three nights from Friday evening to Sunday morning go figure
Because the Bible says He died the day before the Sabbath. Since today's Saturday is the same day as Sabbath, then the day before would be our Friday. But....Passover is also a Sabbath day and it doesn't usually fall on Saturday. Let's say Passover was on Thursday that year meaning He died on Wednesday... Passover Sabbath day on Thursday, the women can do nothing... Friday, the women buy and prepare burial spices.... Sabbath (Saturday), the women can do nothing... Sunday, the third day, they go to the tomb. Note: Jewish time counting is from sundown to sundown. Buried on Wednesday evening just before sundown thus His first night in the tomb was Thursday night, then Thursday day, Friday night, then Friday day, Saturday night then Saturday day, rose early on Sunday sometime after sundown on Saturday. Three nights and three days.
Absolutely! Yoga is the stretching and moving of the human body, a body which was invented by God. And if one does those exercises/movements while listening to worship music and focusing on Jesus, that’s a beautiful thing. R.
@@TheBiblicalRoots I would encourage you to look into exactly what Yoga is. Not all traditions and practices can be commandeered for Christ. Christ tells us not to worship as the pagans worship. Yoga movements (warrior pose, downward dog, etc) are the poses that were created as a form of worship to the gods of Hindu. They are the re-enactments and physical symbols of the beliefs surrounding various Hindu gods (the stories of their lives, etc). Performing these movements is worship of these gods. I would love to see you look into this more and discern for yourself. Stretching the body is one thing; but moving the body as prescribed by yoga, and by extension a pagan religion (in order to properly worship their pagan gods) does not and cannot honor Christ. What fellowship does Christ have with darkness?
Your theology is twisted in knots, But 99% of those in Hebrew roots also used to teach the same lawless disoensational doctrine you teach. there's always hope for you,
I don't agree with you on this, there are enough convicting Bible passages, over manmade traditions such as Christmas. Jeremiah 10 for starters. Why would any born again Christian want such pagan symbols as trees, reefs and garlands around their home. If it is just about Christ, there is no need for the rest of the stuff. It is a season for debt, commercialism, drunkenness, gluttony and lying to kids about magic
Thanks, Albert! Did you know that when Solomon built the first temple, he used materials and labor from the pagan nations around him? (1 Kings 5) Why would God allow such a thing? Because “The earth is the Lord's and everything in it” (Ps 24:1). "Pagan” things have no power of their own. Anything can be commandeered and used to bring glory to God. So although Solomon’s temple was built with the beautiful cedar wood of Lebanon, and with the help of the laborers and craftsmen from Tyre and Sidon, its purpose was to worship the God of Israel. And likewise, while trees may be worshiped by pagans, Christians merely use them as a seasonal decoration in their celebration of the God of Israel coming to earth as a human being and walking among us. It’s not the thing that has power, as Isaiah so insightfully teaches when he talks about the folly of idolatry. (Isa 44:9-20) He says that from one tree comes the wood to keep you warm and cook your food, and the same wood is fashioned into an idol that can’t see or hear or understand. "Shall I bow down to a block of wood?" He asks. What we worship is what we set our hearts and minds on. It’s not the objects, the things-the tree, the wreath, the candles, the ornaments- that’s not what dictates what’s being worshipped and celebrated. Its the purpose for which those things are used that matters. And if they’re used as cultural decorations in the remembering of the birth of Christ and the celebrating of the incarnation of God of Israel, then it’s Jesus who is being worshipped, not the tree. Blessings, Rob
@@TheBiblicalRoots Thanks for taking the time to reply Rob. I understand your reasoning but I do not agree with it. I am with the Puritan theologians on Christmas. Much of modern Christianity has diluted the word of God, it is as though "anything goes" for Christians these days as long as they profess Christ's name, but we are warned that "even Demons believe" and "not everyone who cries Lord, Lord will be saved" Mixing the purity of our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ with pagan and secularist celebration is not biblical and does not sit right with me anymore and I believe 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 speaks to this "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you" God's blessing to you also Rob and I continue to enjoy your work, your book on Torahism is excellent 👍

Rob, you depicted yourself as a trained theologian; if you are, then why have you not responded to some of the questions that have been asked? Another question: Does being a trained theologian imply that you are more biblically educated than people who are not theologians, such as myself? I care less whether Torah observers made a rule that is not in the Scriptures; the fact is that God made feasts that were to be held by his people, not the Gentiles nor the Pagans. What amazes me is that you bring feasts that you do not observe to substantiate a day that you want to hold. If you want to celebrate the birth of Yeshua, why not celebrate it on the most likely date of Yeshua's birth, which was probably around September, instead of holding it on December 25, a day that was already popular in pagan religious celebrations as the birthday of the sun? Why do you accept celebrating it on a fictitious day, a day stolen from the Pagan? God established three feasts: Pesach, a day to commemorate God's deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt; Shavuot, a feast celebrating the giving of the Torah to be held 50 days after leaving Egypt; and Sukkot, an annual reminder of God’s provision during Israel’s 40-year wilderness. What is important to understand is that they were given by God after an event occurred. Though the Maccabees might have established a day to commemorate their victory over Greek oppression and the cleansing of the Temple in Jerusalem after it had been desecrated, Solomon was the one who dedicated the temple. What is important to observe is that God established the three feasts with his people, and his people established a day to commemorate their victory and the rededication of the Temple.
The Scriptures do not even tell us that Yeshua celebrated the Feast of the Dedication, nor does this chapter imply that it was the day that the Maccabees established. What they do tell us is that on that day, they tried to stone him. So, Yeshua celebrated a day when they were attempting to stone him, according to you? What a feast! This Yeshua, whom you say celebrated the Feast of the Dedication, said these exact words: "There shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down." You said that Yeshua celebrated the Feast of the Dedication; where in John 10 does it say that? Why didn't God make Christmas a feast day to be observed? It is safe to state that God only establishes days with his people. As for Christmas, everyone celebrates it: religion groups, Gentiles, Pagans, and people who do not even have a relationship with God through Yeshua, people who are not God's people, people who do not even serve God, and that is because Rome, the Roman Emperors, and the Council of Nicaea wanted nothing to do with God's people, God's laws, the Sabbath, and God's feasts. I am not here to change your mind; that is not my job. According to the Scriptures, the Spirit of God is the only one that can enlighten the mind with scriptural truth, which God made clear the first time he spoke. I pointed it out in the past, and you just confirmed it, and I will sum it up this way: you are a "trained theologian who is given a divine assignment to trash God's laws." That is what it all boils down to.
@@billyhw99 You are implying here that moments of revealing truth that come from God's word should be communicated within the constraints of your inability, and yet you would spend thirteen minutes listening to the ideology of a so-called theologian who has been trained by other theologians to falsely attack God's word with a complete hatred for God's instruction and smile in the process of doing so. @@sunrisemission8341 You are correct about the "dogmas," and other than Yeshua taking the curse of the law to the cross, he took the dogmas that the Pharisess established. Christianity has been engraved with the lie that Yeshua took the law to the cross; if he did, wouldn't you think the blessing of the law had to be taken in addition to the curse of the law? Sorry, there is no clear indication that Jesus actually celebrated Hanukkah. Here is the passage: "And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch." - John 10:22-23 KJV At best you could infer, however there is no clean indication that Jesus actually celebrated Hanukkah nor endorsed it.
Keep reading, J. You’ll find Jesus having a long conversation with the Jews at the temple during the Feast of Dedication. And not once does He rebuke them for observing a man-made celebration. So we have a record of Jesus being at the temple during a man-made feast, among his fellow Jews who were celebrating the feast, and the author of the Gospel makes no mention of Jesus abstaining from the ceremonies, and Jesus Himself makes no comment about the feast being wrong or the Jews desecrating the temple for keeping it. It’s a pretty big stretch to suggest that Jesus did not celebrate it (while all the other Jews did) and He did not approve of his fellow Jews keeping it, and yet the author of the Gospel chose not to mention any of that. Shalom, R.
I'm really not trying to troll you or be argumentative just for argument's sake, but I always have the hardest time swallowing the Christian worldview. The actual evidence for Jesus's life/ministery is terribly thin and flimsy when thoroughly investigated, but even putting that aside.... WHY would I want to think of myself (and teach my kids) that I/we are all miserable sinners without hope, unless we ask to be saved by a Jesus character that we've never met personally? The Christian worldview comes across as terribly negative and degrading to me, but Christians seem to vibe off that. I truly and sincerely don't get it. I'm not an atheist, but the Christian/Biblical concept of a God is truly unsettling. My wife is a Christian from India and her father is a Christian minister (converted from Hinduism) and we talk, etc, and accept eachother, but Christianity simply floors me.
@Blessed I agree, yes, I do NOT define myself as a "sinner," but, instead, I view "me" as a mask God wears to play out Reality (more on that later). My reason for rejecting have nothing to do with be called a sinner making me uncomfortable in my skin, but wholly related to me not at all agreeing AT ALL with Christianity's tenets/worldview. I'm not a casual Jesus denier.... I've read everything in and around the Bible I could get my hands on for the last several decades; both literature in favor and against. Respectly, how is Jesus the most attested to historical figure if all time? Not a single supposed eyewitness of his physical existence wrote anything down, now dictated anything to anyone which survives to this day in any form (copies, nor originals). No contemporary to Jesus writers AT ALL, neither in/nor outside the Bible. The closest is Paul, but he received his Gospel years after Jesus's alleged crucifixion and Paul boasts he received his Gospel from NO man, but only from Scripture (reinterpretations and extrapolations of Old Testament texts) and from vision(s). He never mentions a single Jesus parable, nor relates anything to Jesus's supposed ministry, aside from that he was born, died, resurrected (and, the Lord's Supper, where he conspicuously fails to mention anyone else specifically present... it sounds more like Jesus is made by Paul to be presenting a ritual to be followed by current/future "Christians"). Even Josephus's supposed lines written about Jesus in the Testimonium Flavianum, if that is one of your proofs of Jesus, have been thoroughly and very reasonably shown to be a later forgery; a passage unknown to even the early Church Father's prior to Eusebius (even though familiar with the work). Of the anonymously written Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, Mark was written 1st... then, the others literally copied, redacted, extrapolated and added to Mark to create their own versions of Mark's tale. And... Mark definitely utilized Paul's writing to fabricate/construct his Gospel (Paul's authentic letters--only 7 were authentic---were written years and years before Mark's Gospel). The evidence for a crucified, risen Jesus (or even a historical Jesus at all) is so unbelievably sketchy as to not warrant any confidence whatsoever, unless one wants to ignore the lack of evidence, give credence to non-evidence or to claim the Holy Spirit gives/maintains their faith (which would require the Bible to be accurate which becomes circular reasoning again). My wife is a very intelligent, extremely well-educated woman... she is comfortable with her faith and I wholly love and respect her views, though I entirely disagree. However, she is not philosophical in nature, but loving and trusting. Christianity feels good to her. And, that's absolutely fine, of course. I'm a nondualist; an Idealist (Advaita Vedantin). This is a very ancient philosophy (far predating Christianity, not that that matters), based upon the principle Upanishads of the Indus Valley from 3+ thousand years ago. Beautiful texts. Gorgeous ideas. And, they are firmly married to sound reason. As a nondual thinker, all is literally IN the Mind of God. Nothing exists BUT God (aka, Consciousness). So, in my view, we are dissociated perspectives of God. I love people. I love anyone reading my babble here, as well. And, I respect your Christian views, even though I sincerely feel they often stunt true growth as a reasoning human. And, they can lead to a members only mentality that can divide people.... also, Christianity (any religion) can cause emotional/psychological harm in some cases, particularly to those with literalist, obsessive Christian views. Okay, enough rambling. Much love.

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer." (1 Tim 4:1-5) So whose teachings "require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving"? Hebrew Roots would be one example. Also, if Jesus wanted to you to know when his birthday was, he would have said it, so saying it's December 25th is not true, it's a sin to say it because it's a lie.
"While the shepherds were guarding their flocks by night" - only took place during lambing season. Christmas should be celebrated closer to Easter than it is. Christmas is where it is because of John's comment and its relationship to both the time of his birth, and the sun's movement in the sky. John says "he must increase, so I must decrease" and St. Jean Baptiste Day is June 24, 3 days after the summer solstice for us northern hemisphere folk. "And after 3 days, the son will rise" are we starting to see why it was positioned where it is, rather than around Easter, where it technically should be?
@@billyhw99 according to no one's calendar. I don't think we should be celebrating Christmas at all. I'm saying that when the Old Testament describes the adorning of trees as an act of idolatry, and then suddenly we're okay with appropriating pagan holidays and practises "for the glory of God", we're on a very bad pathway that's becoming increasingly difficult to escape from. God does not want us mixing with false deities and associating with corrupting influences - he does not change. No matter what this fellow is saying, Jesus did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. Evidence that celebrating Christmas isn't that great? Look at how it divides humanity today. Watch as suicide rates skyrocket over the next month, and consider that it might be born from a sense of being unequal to our fellow man. Is that Christian, this result? Despite what the holidays are supposed to be about, it doesn't mitigate the damage that occurs through them. Travel and accomodation prices soar, capitalizing on our desire to reunite with each other. Families that struggle are locked into working through the holidays just to make ends meet, after having exhausted their savings in an effort to keep up with traditions that are getting harder to maintain. And if you're thinking "but the OP wasn't talking about the consumer-based form of the holiday" then I challenge him to find any evidence in the Bible where taking up the traditions of foreign nations didn't contribute anything other than the eventual corruption of the people of Judea. Telling yourself that you're taking a pagan practice and using it glorify the Lord is NOT supported anywhere in scripture. God will do that himself, but we're too weak to do so ourselves; even with best intentions, we'll mislead many. We ARE misleading many. And it's by our fruit that they will know what we are.
Why do you Ignore Christ's command in Matthew 23:1-3? Any one who relaxes the least of these commands will be least in the Kingdom? The great Commission calls us to do and to teach ALL that Christ Commands!
Which of Christ's commands do you think I am ignoring, Darcy? I teach and believe that obedience is God’s “love language.” Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And I'm sure you would agree that not every command that God has given applies to every person at all times. Some of His commands only apply to certain people (i.e., men, women, parents, Levitical priests) or for certain times (i.e., building an ark, gathering manna, while in exile). And I'm sure you would also agree that we are each only expected to keep the commands of God that apply to us. The NT teaches that the ceremonial Mosaic commands do not apply to Christians today. (ex. Repeated blood sacrifices for sin are no longer required (Heb 10:18).) We still serve God and obey His commands, “But now we are released from the law, having died with Christ to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6). Blessings, Rob
Deciples never did calibrate chrismas. Jesus only said to remember Him by eating Lord supper. The Lord supper remind us everything Jesus did fir us. It reminds us that Jesus was born on earth and one day He died on cross for us then He resurrected from the dead today is alive and He lives in every believer. Other wise Jesus would have told His tell deciples to remember also His birth. Chrismas is man made holiday is not God. That's why on that day many Christians drink alcohol getting drunk, going out for fornication and adultery, and so many evil Christians does on that day. Some close church if chrismas fell on Sunday. It's true that you won't find Christmas on a pagan's holiday calendar, but Christianity has stolen their day and made it the day that Yeshua was born; in other words, Christmas derives from the pagan's day. So, it does not matter if the pagan celebrate their pagan day on another day. The Nativity Feast was first observed in Rome in the eighth century by Pope Sergius I. Again, as you can see, Rome, which wanted nothing to do with God's feast, established a day for themselves, and Christianity has adapted to a Catholic feast as well. Birthdays, engagements, weddings, and parties have nothing to do with religious rituals. The bar mitzva has nothing to do with a day that God established, but notice how they focus on the individual rather than what God has done. Now, you might say, the feast of Nativity focuses on the birth of Christ, but tell me, who established that day, God or man? Was it established by the Christian church in the days of the Apostles or the Catholic church? Does the Scriptures tell us to hold it? Tell me, what is more important to you, the birth of Yeshua or the death of Yeshua? Yeshua made it clear what was important, which is why he said, "Do this in remembrance of me," and he gave the wine and bread, which is the day to remember when it comes to Yeshua. The Gospel is not about the birth of Yeshua; it is about the love of God demonstrated in the death of Yeshua on the cross. You have been in the fields eating grass for a long time, regurgitating your false doctrines and the teachings that you adapted from man. Even though I probably would not have a problem if one wanted to celebrate the birth of Christ, it should be held around the time he was born. However, because it is celebrated on December 25, no one can deny that its origin came from a pagan holiday.

(John 1:14). * While pagan winter festivals focus on the gods meeting the physical needs of the people, Christmas focuses on the God of Israel having already met the spiritual needs of the people. * The pagan celebrations require the people to give gifts and make sacrifices to the gods, while Christmas remembers that Yahweh gave a gift to the people by sending his only Son to save us. The _Christian_ observance of Christmas has no religious resemblance or connection to pagan winter celebrations. These are two different animals.
@@billyhw99 My statement is not about making accusations toward anyone about celebrating the birth of Christ; I am pointing out what I wrote to Rob Solberg, which is: If you want to celebrate the birth of Yeshua, why not celebrate it on the most likely date of Yeshua's birth, which was probably around September, instead of holding it on December 25, a day that was already popular in pagan religious celebrations as the birthday of the sun? Wouldn't you agree that the appropriate days should have been around the time Yeshua was born, rather than being determined by what the pagans were holding? Being that it derives from a pagan feast, I would not hold it; if you want to hold it, that is your choice. The fact that Christians have adapted to that day makes it hard to break away from it. I can only answer for myself. Assuming I was a Christian and I learned that December was not the correct month but I still wanted to hold it, I would hold it around September and dismiss December 25 to avoid the reason given. I would do this with a group of people and their families who still want to hold it, but avoid December 25. But then, many cannot escape December 25.

Revelation 19:13. and Jesus was accompanied of God in a Holy Trinity. and Jesus whose name Word was God. In verse 14 the Word whose given name Jesus incarnate became man. They offered the gifts to Jesus gold, frankincense and myrr, they exceeding joy, together with the shepherded in a a manger and they worship the birth of Jesus Christ there was a jubilee and celebration of Jesus the Mesiah the coming of Jesus our savior. The word christmas mean coming the root word Christ means Jesu Christ himself and mass is the group or the mass of people who are called Christian who believe Jesus Christ the savior. Christmas is not a pagan. Those who are not celebrate Christmas or birth if Jesus Christ are called "Cult". Celebration of Christmas is Biblical and not a pagan practices.
Hi Dennis. Are you saying that Satan is happy that Christian churches all over the world are overflowing with new visitors during their Christmas services, where the story of Jesus is told from Holy Scripture, and He is celebrated as God incarnate and the Messiah, and his Gospel is preached? Rob
I’m new to your channel. I was sad to see you’re decieved about the Xmas festival. Have you gone through the “120 reasons not to celebrate Christmas” yet? Once you do a biblical study on it, it’s undeniable that we’re NOT to worship however WE think is best. We’re to be SET APART, not join in with what the rest of the world is doing. Do you honestly think that if was about Christ that the world would be celebrating it? Ummm. No. All your “explanations” are nothing more than trying to justify a sinful celebration that you were raised with and don’t want to give up. Besides, seeing as it’s admittedly a man made holiday….why NOT give it up then? Why not error on the side of caution?? Is it an idol to you? If you won’t give it up, it most certainly IS.
Welcome to the channel, OJSU! There's no need to be fearful. "God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control" (2 Tim 17). What we fix our minds and hearts on is what we worship. And if our hearts and our minds are focused on the birth of Christ and the incredible lengths that God went to in order to save us-which is what Christmas is all about-we're certainly not participating in pagan rituals by putting a tree in our living room or hanging stockings over the fireplace. "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof" (Ps 24:1.) Blessings, Rob
Thank you for your reply. I think we need to err on the side of caution, because scripture has much to say about how God feels about mixing His holy worship with the worship of false gods and paganism. He Hates it! I’m concerned about what God thinks….much more than what I think or how my family feels about something. Also, to celebrate birthdays is the #1 celebration that Satanist’s LOVE to celebrate. Enough said on that one. YAH didn’t tell us to worship Him in this way (to focus on His birth or Him as a baby at all) but rather, He told us about the wine and the bread. Do THIS in remembrance of Me. Luke 22:19. We have to be willing to sacrifice our own pleasures on this earth in order to obey Him. To deny ourselves. Unfortunately I’m convinced you’re totally deceived on this matter. Especially one claiming to know the OT so well. I can’t judge your heart….but your fruit, it stinkinth.
@@Apersonintheworldtoday I agree that those who are worshiping false gods should stop immediately and repent! And if that is how you are celebrating Christmas, you are doing it all wrong. The _Christian_ celebration of Christmas is about worshiping Jesus by celebrating His birth and remembering the lengths that He went to in order to save us. "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) Christmas is about lifting the name of Jesus high and proclaiming to the world what God has done! Blessings, Rob

Thanks, Kulubya! The Bible doesn't give us the date of Jesus birth, so maybe you're right! We have no way of knowing for sure. Which is a pretty interesting observation. God certainly _could_ have told us the date of Christ's birth, had He wanted. He was very clear about the dates for Jesus' crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. R.
Nobody really knows when Christ was born. There's no way to prove any particular date. We don't even use the same calendars today that they used back then. Christmas isn't a birthday party. It's the liturgical Feast of the Nativity.

The Canaanites were celebrating the winter solstice ritual in honor of Baal 5000 years ago. In each household they had a tree (phallus symbol), a wreath (vagina symbol), and they exchanged gifts. Many centuries later the ancient Romans were celebrating the ritual in honor of Saturn and doing it the same way (tree, wreaths, gifts). Their name for the ritual was 'Saturnalia.' In around 300 A.D. the Catholic Church priestclass renamed the ritual 'Christmas.' They did it as an evangelistic ploy to attract people away from Saturn worship. The majority of the Roman people were Saturn worshipers. The temple of Saturn was the biggest building in ancient Rome. The temple priests were very wealthy and the Catholic priestclass wanted to get in on the cash cow. The spirit behind Christmas is Saturn (Old Testament Baal). The Apostle John called him 'The Spirit of Antichrist" (counterfeit Christ who seeks to mimic the Holy Spirit). He is the principality of idolatry, plus he is the spirit of top-down-control (seeks to manifest through men-at-the-top, e.g. leaders of nations, governments, religions, corporations, military, academia, medicine, media, finance, etc.). The ancient Babylonians and Assyrians called him Bel. The ancient Greeks called him Cronos. The ancient Hindus called him Indra. Same spirit going by different names in different cultures and in different time periods. It was very important to him to implement the winter solstice ritual as he understood that when a person celebrates (honors) the ritual it gives him automatic rights of access to their human spirit (conscience, intuition, and the ability to commune with the Holy Spirit) and to have ongoing influence on their spiritual life (the kingdom of darkness is all about control). Jesus was born on September 11, 3 B.C. by the Julian Calendar. Bethlehem is 2500 ft. above sea level so that in December there would've been no grass for the sheep to eat (see Luke 2:8-20 in the King James Version). Jesus had nothing to do with Christmas (never did and never will). You can verify this information online, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find information that goes against the system narrative (propaganda/brainwash).

Try to make it a Christian holiday so that we would have have idols and worship Bail Son secretly. It is without a doubt, pagan, and so is birthdays. As far as I know, the Bible does say beware Pegan holidays. Christ birth was around October. Definitely, not December. Same thing with Easter Catholics. Flex pulled the wool over all Christians, saying it's a Christian holiday. But it's another pagan holiday. Where they colored multiple colored eggs. Claims that a woman. Bale's wife came from a multicolored egg and she was sinless and Did Not have sex to be born. She came from a multicolored egg and that her son.Bale son was from a virgin birth from her that her Husband did not have sex with, her but she had a Virgin Birth. And if you're celebrating the birth of Christ. Like you say you are. What's the deal with the Christmas tree that has nothing to do with celebrating the birth of Christmas without the Christmas tree and see how much. You are actually going to miss that Christmas tree. Do it and you'll see it's got power over you. Christmas won't be the same. You'll see if you do it. And the Catholics did the same thing with Halloween. All sank today or something like that. To justify a very evil demonic day. For sure and I pray that you all see this. And your eyes and heart are open. There's nothing I wouldn't give up in this world. Exactly.

The pagans were about to sacrifice children under the tree when he chopped it down stopping the sacrifice. A later folk version of the story adds the detail that an evergreen tree grew in place of the felled oak, telling them about how its triangular shape reminds humanity of the Trinity and how it points to heaven.

Hello, Sam!
*Sam: Why didn't God make Christmas a feast day to be observed?*
I don’t know. The Bible doesn’t tell us. It also it doesn’t tell us why God didn’t make the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) a feast day to be observed. But Jesus observed it anyway (John 10:22-23).
*Sam: As for Christmas, everyone celebrates it…*
I am not sure if you watched this video, Sam, but in it, I only defend the _Christian_ celebration of the birth of Christ, not the secular celebration of Christmas.
*Sam: Do you, as a Gentile believer, wish "Merry Christmas" to those who do not serve God, and if so, why?*
Of course! To be friendly and to speak the name of Christ and remind them of the season we are in.
*Sam: Christianity has stolen their day and made it the day that Yeshua was born*
Yes!

That is like saying that because Jesus was at a wedding that weddings are a Godly thing and by Jesus being in a place where a wedding was taking place that this means he has endorsed weddings.
Your teaching here is a massive perversion of Gods word and the sad fact is, your Christianity is as counterfeit as is the hebrew roots peoples Christianity. Jesus founded a Church with the power to bind and loose people regarding feast days, and then he said that whatever this Church bound on Earth would be bound in Heaven, and this Church founded the Feast of the Nativity.
@@billyhw99 Who is Yeshua speaking to? Who is Yeshua giving the key to?
You’re basically saying “it doesn’t mean that to me.”

My thoughts:
1st Tabernacle the Tent of Meeting
1st Solomon's Temple
2nd Zerubbabel's Temple
3rd Herod's Temple rebuild and enlargement of Zerubbabel's
4th Pentecost, the Body of Christ Temple.

Awesome, thank you! Merry Christmas!

Question: Can yoga be commandeered for Christ?
You have the best music!

Much of modern Christianity has diluted the word of God, it is as though "anything goes" for Christians these days as long as they profess Christ's name, but we are warned that "even Demons believe" and "not everyone who cries Lord, Lord will be saved"
Mixing the purity of our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ with pagan and secularist celebration is not biblical and does not sit right with me anymore and I believe 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 speaks to this
"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you"

My wife is a Christian from India and her father is a Christian minister (converted from Hinduism) and we talk, etc, and accept eachother, but Christianity simply floors me.
Was Your Wife A Christian When She Married You?
@@kylemanningjcic1333 yes she was.
Much love.

You’re essentially repeating the words the serpent said to Eve before she was seduced into idolatry. “ you shall not surely die”. Xmas is high level idolatry. Go read 1 Timothy 4:1 … “ You’re conscious is seared by the doctrine of the Devil.
Better yet, Sevin, let's read the whole passage!

For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer." (1 Tim 4:1-5)
So whose teachings "require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving"? Hebrew Roots would be one example.
Why do you think Christmas should only be celebrated on the actual day of the year that Christ was born, and according to which calendar?

@@TheBiblicalRoots well, Jesus answered this question for you. Whatever the pharacies tells you, you must do, as they seat in moses seat.
Are you aware that there are pagan holidays somewhere in the world at every time of the year?
@@billyhw99 What does that have to do with what is being discussed? Nothing! Perhaps you should read what I write rather than assuming what you think I wrote. * The goal of pagan celebrations is to appease the gods. Christmas has nothing to do with appeasement.
* The pagan celebrations were agricultural in nature. Christmas has nothing to do with agriculture.
* The pagan celebrations are based on the winter season. While Christmas is celebrated in winter, it is not _based_ on the seasons. In fact, Jesus was most likely not even born in the winter.
* The pagan celebrations involve the worship of idols or pagan gods or nature or the weather. Christmas involves the worship of the One True God of the Bible.
* Pagan celebrations are future-focused; the believers are hoping for a future work of the gods in the coming season that will benefit them. Christmas is past-focused; believers are commemorating and remembering a one-time historical event when the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

"The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof" (Ps 24:1.)

In case you don't already know, the meaning of the term 'ad hominem' is 'argument against the man', which has to do with attempting to belittle one's opponent in an argument vs debating the actual content of the argument, and which is usually used by the person to get himself off the hook for having to defend his position. An exercise in stupidity in other words (which you are proving to be really good at doing). .

Christ was not born in December. It's about Bale's son being born and worshipping trees That's why they put lights on the trees to glorify it and the Catholics.

Bale's wife came from a multicolored egg and she was sinless and Did Not have sex to be born. She came from a multicolored egg and that her son.Bale son was from a virgin birth from her that her Husband did not have sex with, her but she had a Virgin Birth. @@Cara96 There are plenty of reasons to study such things, but should I give them to you, or should you seek them out? According to scripture, in Proverbs 25:2, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.”
Here are some Bible Verses About Seeking after Knowledge and how important it is. I provide these because if I tell you something, it's information coming from a simple man. And the likelihood of your believing it is greatly reduced. If Father tells you through His word, how great will your belief be then? Greatly increased, correct? Faith comes by hearing the truth of the word of God. Yeshua said, "Father, sanctify them with your truth, thy word is truth." So, it is inherent in our adoption as children of the King, to understand the King's kingdom, is it not? If we are to rule and reign with the King, how are we to do so without the knowledge He possesses? I fear, in such a case, the boundary of our rulership would be non-existent. And non-existent due to the circumstance in which we have not yet surrendered ourselves even unto the authority of the King, much less His kingdom.
