I honestly have no sympathy for Tommy on this part, sure, he’s obviously been through a lot and needs help, but he deserved that from Tubbo. He was really toxic for him and the fact Tubbo’s gaining a backbone and can actually face him now is so… I’m so proud of him 🥹. It’s like watching you’re kid grow up man…
Also, YEAH TUBBO YOU GO IM SO PROUD OF YOU! Tubbo has every right to lash out at Tommy, even so, he didn’t even do that much of the arguing, and he’s visibly nervous and anxious when he sees Tommy, which btw, you SHOULDN’T be feeling when you see a friend. He has every right to do what he wants at times and Tommy, while his actions can be explained, were still unreasonably angry towards Tubbo. So yeah, YOU GO TUBBO, im so proud of him 🥹

i do have SOME sympathy towards tommy, but only after seeing his angst and even so just barely
i feel EXTREMELY proud of tubbo because he reminds me of myself, i’ve been in a toxic relationship before, she was a piece of shit
after that i’ve gotten near to no empathy for people like that, he wants to change most likely and does this because its all his mother ever thought him most likely, so i’m up to give him a chance and help him, but the chance part won’t work until he gets help and tries to change
@@FelicityBe3 I’m Happy that you got out of a toxic relationship, and yes, absolutely agreed on that. Of course it’ll be a long process for him since recovery always is and so is changing, but he should take that initiative to get the help he needs. I really hope this AU gets a good ending but yk… like all things we can’t hope too much 😅
To add onto this actually, Tommy outright tells Tubbo he’s not allowed to have any other friend and that he’s HIS friend, but just earlier he was clearly about to tell Tubbo to help him do something while he goes hang out with Purpled. This shows his own hypocrisy, which in this case is harming Tubbo. You can tell Tubbo is clearly affected by what he says especially when he declares Tubbo as not his friend and not acting like it. It takes him quite a long time to actually fight back because chances are, he was so ready to cave into Tommy’s demands and apologise for something that isn’t even his fault.
And honestly, I wouldn’t blame Tubbo for being angry at the friend part. This guy has been around since childhood, he’s been there since the very start, he literally HELPED you kidnap someone and keep them kidnapped. He’s also seen to be codependent on him, so it’s not easy for him to even speak out like this. But even after everything he’s done for you, you still choose to call him not doing enough as a friend… well, I mean I’d be pretty pissed too.
