Excellent analysis of the origins of the Marine Band. Much new knowledge to me, plus the added benefit of your amazing skills on the instrument. I'm certain, my friend, you will go down in history as one of the most instrumental purveyors of harmonica. Still own my first Hohner, a Big River in D received at age 9, 65 years and still counting. Blessings to you and yours in 2022!

Excellent Richard, though I believe that the blues feeling already came along with the emergence of humankind.

Hi Richard terrific video..theory harp I struggle but think with some exploration you have some light in there for me to find. (Positions part) ..I learn guitar slowly so forget harp somtimes (why when I love so much !) So, I have variety of harps but not this one..now I want one next ! (After your playing !) what key would you recommend as a learner with a few bends ...to fit into many trad blues songs ?? (And can only afford one for now !) Many Thanks..

Always a different and interesting slant on the harp. I am better at listening than playing. Thanks.
