Mihail's joy at meeting you is incredible. He's so proud if you. He's showing you your heritage and your birthright. I think that in all likelihood he would have made a great father if he had known about you.

I know the USSR has a very hard past, but I his narration made me realized how many orphaned people are in his family. His paternal grandma and his mom are both orphans as he was.
Almost 30 million ppl died in the war! Crazy, Mostly men, but a lot of women as well. Not to mention all the goverenmental policys and purges that cause deaths. Very hard past indeed.
Yeah, my mother put me in an orphanage, and my grandmother had put my mother in an orphanage as well. Grandma herself grew up without her mother since she was only 2 years old, because her mother (my great-grandmother) died. It's like a constant curse!
Shout out to your dads new wife, she is very supportive, she must be a amazing person,no jealousy from her, very accepting of the full process,so happy for you all
Alex, I know this is about your father but for some reason, your mother came through very strongly to me. You should keep the faith concerning your mother. In many ways, she reminds me of my own who had to raise three of us with an unsupportive father. She had it tough and until one has really observed a mother struggling financially, emotionally, even physically, day after day, then critics of your mother don't have a clue and should shut their pie holes! Seriously, it's not until one quietly watches, like a fly on the wall, how a woman who feels alone lives in constant fear about the future, even the present, struggling to put food on the table and worrying as every parent does about their children---a worry that only comes from being a parent. There are subtleties I'm not communicating properly but anyone who is a son or daughter with decent observational skills will know or intuit what I mean. In other words Alex, stand by her side. Love to all and I will keep coming back to view. I am a teacher so I know the importance for respecting everyone’s feelings.💖
I’ve been watching for a while. Your birth father seems like a great man. I hope one day maybe you guys can both speak in Russian together. However I can imagine how difficult that would be to Learn! Much love!
Since he was in the orphanage for two years and learned the language, from what I have read it is easy for a person to again learn their birth language.
Your mother loves you deeply also! The reason for your mother's drinking is her having to bury the pain of giving you up for adoption! As a mother of 5 children, I understand that some mother's love their children so much that it's hard to cope with the anguish of losing a child! And worse when she never could have anymore children!
You can definitely see he's your father, you and him are like twins but he looks like a kind man. I hope your mum opens her heart a bit more to you, hopefully seeing you is a healing process for her.
Привет! I watched a program about you on 1TV Russia. Sasha, you are lucky, because you have 2 mothers and 2 fathers. Great respect to your foster parents! You, your biological father and your biological brother you're all very much alike. It's good to know your roots and your origins.
I very enchanted with your history, I love Russian people, I'm Mexican by birth and Russian by heart. Thank you for been here sharing the world with us.
You are so blessed. I put my daughter up for adoption in 1988 and she found me in 2017 in time for me to attend her 2nd wedding - at her request, I would have chosen a different time for a first meeting but I went because it is what she wanted and I had never stopped wanting to be reunited. Unfortunately, she was/is not the loving child she was before being adopted at 18 mos old. On the phone it sounded like she really wanted to build a relationship with me but once I arrived she basically ignored me. I only attended the wedding because I made a promise and did not want to break it and because it gave me a chance to meet her adoptive father. Her adoptive mom had died 18 mos prior. I have not heard from my daughter since just before Christmas in 2017. There has never been an explanation why she invited me to her wedding and then stopped communication 2 mos later. I admit it hurts but you cannot force someone to want a relationship with you. You are so fortunate to be able to rebuild a relationship with your biological family and I hope it continues for as long as you live.
The moment I saw Mihail's wife, I said to myself "wow, she must be either a Tatar or a Bashkort". Turns out, I was right. 7:38 She's from Ufa, the capital city of Bashkiria (the Autonomous Republic of Bashkortostan). She is lucky to have such a lovely guy as her husband.
I feel sorry for Tatjana.. Poor thing. She was an orphanager, didn't know what to do when she found out she got pregnant. She decided to run away instead of just telling Misha. It could be ve been another story though..

Your birth dad is so proud of you and so happy that you took the time to find him! I cannot wait to watch all of your videos and follow your relationship with your dad and his family and step-mom in Russia! May God bless you!
You are so precious, your parents must be so proud of you. The love you express is so touching. Your birth father must feel so lucky you found the parents you got, they must be incredible people. Your heart is so loving, it is easy to see you inherited your birth father's loving spirit, thankfully your parents provided a loving home for it to blossom in.
Happy to see you and your dad having a good relationship. I could see how delighted he is to have you in his life and sure you do the same. I wish you and your families the best. Thank you for sharing us your story, Alex! Greetings from the Philippines!
Alex, you are such an amazing young man. Your parents did an awesome job raising you. You are open and accepting of other people's frailties. I love seeing the bond you've developed with Misha.
Wow, wonderful for you that you have a new relationship with your Birth Father...I was put up for adoption, I met my birth parents, who got married and had 2 more children. Was not the same meeting for me, I did feel a huge weight off my shoulders though, the always “unknowing” I am so happy for you! (I have been studying Russian for almost a year...your Russian is really good!! I am learning mine for work and fun)
I have been thinking the world in general is hard and negative recently. But I had the Chance here to see you and your father meeting and forging a relationship . It’s so beautiful ! It renews hope within me ! Reminds me there are still good people in the world ! Perhaps the world can find its way back if we remind ourselves more love and caring is within our grasp !
He seems like a really nice man. I was adopted and met my birth mother. My birth dad died within the year of my meeting her. I never got to meet him. Never cared about it but youve shown me a different side to the whole meeting family thing. He is so happy to be your dad. Like someone else commented, his eyes light up from the love he has for you. Cheers
What an incredible man Mihail is. It seems that he loved and accepted his son unconditionally right from the beginning. Mihail's lovely wife deserves a mention also, as she seems to love and support Alex, and the relationship between birth father and son, as well. The love in this story is so beautiful.
I love that you're an adoptee sharing your story. I feel like there arent many. We just adopted our son and these video help. One day we want him to have a relationship with his bio parents if they are healthy people
Amazing story. Brought me to tears. Your birth father seems like a cool guy. Glad you have a relationship with him. Maybe one day they can come and visit you.
You have such a beautiful story. I salute your adoptive parents for their love. I admire your birth mother for giving birth to you. I thank your birth father for being such a wonderful father to you. You are very lucky to have two set of parents. Love your birth mother more while she is alive especially that she had been to a lot of hardship, she is so beautiful. You are a great son.
wow such stories. i am an indian watching a video about a russian meeting his birth parents during lockdown and its almost 2 in the night power of the internet and also, best wishes to you man. family is real important
Women in Russia go through a lot of pain. They hold their tears back to look stoic. Trust me, she is delighted to see her son. But seeing him surely brings up regret, feelings of inadequacy, self doubt, and questioning if she did the right thing. Don’t judge her.
She may not show it but in actual deep down she loves him the most, he's her life now that she found him, I'm sure she wants to make up for all the looses if she has her way but she lost her rights long time ago to a wonderful couple and she knows that that's why she's holding back she don't want to come across as possessive
Your father seems like a good man with so much happiness to share, can feel his love and pride for you, although under different circumstances he still loves you dearly you took after him as both of you are so positive and in love with life❤️
What an incredibly beautiful story Alex.. your birth dad is so handsome & wow, you are so like him .. All the very best wishes for the future .. Pam .. Bingara., NSW. Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘p.s.. your mum & Dad in NZ are also gorgeous . You are indeed one fortunate young man .🌹🌺💜💚🇦🇺🇦🇺
You have such an admirably positive attitude, it’s contagious! Thank you for sharing this tenderness. I’m so happy for you that you found your birth parents.
I love this story....my boyfriend of 14 years is adopted and his birth parents were from around Belarus ..... he is Jewish (he knows that his birth parents were Jewish....they probably escaped during WWII)....he says he doesn't want to know about his birth parents, but he is so alone - his adoptive parents are passed.....I feel like something is missing from his life. I wish he would search for his family. He was adopted from Toronto, Ontario area, and grew up in Cape Breton, Nova Socita. My dear Dad always says...."If you don't know where you come from....how do you know where you are going".....cheers and keep on keepin' on!
Sasha, you birth father has a fathers heart, that makes all the difference about how he received you...he is a good man..
Yes he does. A fathers heart. ❤️
Your father loves you so much! Your can see the love shining from his eyes.
Thank you!

I love the way he loves you - with all his heart.
Alex, you are such an amazing young man. Your parents did an awesome job raising you. You are open and accepting of other people's frailties. I love seeing the bond you've developed with Misha.
You are a wonderful young man....no wonder your birth father is so proud of you!
Love the love between you and your father
What a wonderful man Mihail is.
Cheers
What a lovely man your Father is, and he has a lovely family too. You look so much alike as well 😊
What an incredible man Mihail is. It seems that he loved and accepted his son unconditionally right from the beginning. Mihail's lovely wife deserves a mention also, as she seems to love and support Alex, and the relationship between birth father and son, as well. The love in this story is so beautiful.
Most definitely. I can imagine it would be quite a shock to find out your husband has a grown son he never knew about. She seems like a lovely woman.
You are a great son.
wow
such stories.
i am an indian watching a video about a russian meeting his birth parents during lockdown and its almost 2 in the night
power of the internet
and also, best wishes to you man. family is real important
Your biological father is so precious and charismatic.
You are an incredible son🙏
May God and His Holy Mother bless you all with good health and joy. Forgiveness and love can bring so much happiness to so many people at once.
Wonderful story! Sadly your birth mother didn’t seem as enthusiastic. Best of luck for the future ❤️
Wow, be proud of yourself man , very mature attitude, peace will be with you for life
Your father seems like a good man with so much happiness to share, can feel his love and pride for you, although under different circumstances he still loves you dearly you took after him as both of you are so positive and in love with life❤️
I find your story fascinating and have enjoyed your videos.
Greetings from the U.K. Love your channel 👍🏻

You are lucky you have your parents love and support and your birth father's love for you
You have such an admirably positive attitude, it’s contagious! Thank you for sharing this tenderness. I’m so happy for you that you found your birth parents.
8:40 I have to hold my cry 😢 thanks for sharing this part of your life!
You are a true inspiration how you have made peace with your past and moving ahead in life... Stay blessed always
