Guitarist Learns Drums

Something I have been wanting to do for a while is learn the drums. I got this Yamaha DTXPLORER offered at a good price so I went for it.
The challenge is to play the drums in 7 days. I have put tons of hours into practice over 2 days and managed a rough groove over one of the on board backing tracks.

I've played both instruments, and if you play guitar THEN go to drums it's way easier to sound good than if you are a drummer hoping to sound decent on guitar after 2 days 👍, well done Hutch

That's really good progress Brent! Quick tip, if your playing correctly your legs shouldn't really hurt, try playing about with your seat height as thats really important, and concentrate on lifting your kick leg using your thigh, not the much smaller muscles in your calf.

cheers yeah I need to get a drum stool I am using a piano stool and feel it is too low atm.
