- Hey there everyone! Today is a very special video for me because not only are we looking at a very cool vacuum, but also I am accompanied by my labradoodle, River. This vacuum was a very diligent working for its original owner who used it as their daily vacuum from 1978 to 2023 when I bought it from the vacuum shop that she gave it to. Thank you Karl & River for an interesting and informative Sears Kenmore Magicord Canister video! The hose and Power Mate pn are similar to a Eureka's hose & Root-Matic pn. I believe there was also a green Magiicord - not sure if it was sold concurrently or at another time. I wonder if Sears used different color schemes for different trim levels. Please consider including some close-up stills of your cleaners, their ratings plates/decals/stamps, and attachments in future vids.
Oh yes! I can definitely start including info about ratings and decals! The Sour Apple Green set came out the year before in 1977. I have some of that set as well and we’ll do another video on them too! Thank you for the suggestions and comments!

That's not the original hose that goes to it. Eureka and Kenmore never use the same hose actually if you look at the ad that he just showed you would see the correct hose that was on that Kenmore Canister
We had this Kenmore Canister we had the brown and beige Kenmore Canister and this was also the same color as that power ease self-propelled upright from the same year.

Have you considered asking the vac shop where you got the Magicord to contact the previous owner for any attachments and the owner's manual?

@@Konstellation_Karl_55hi this is Mike I just seen your video for your Kenmore Canister I actually have attachments that will fit this and I have them listed on eBay if you're interested
They also come with a tool caddy that's made specifically for this canister cuz I actually had this canister growing up as a kid and my mom kept the attachments
