Ok but the exercise ball is actually such a Percy Jackson thing to do, as an ADHD person that feels like something I would do cause it’s easier to focus if I’m sitting on something that moves around so I can do something w my body while I’m focusing on something w my mind

Thank you so much! It was really intentional on my end to ask unconventional questions that would be fun for him to answer as a fan and also as a kid who has had a really cool experience thus far.

And he’s growing up so fast physically. Disney better start shooting season 2 real soon. Or, they’re going to have to add in a story line as to why Percy grew into a young adult since the end of season 1.
Not to mention his hair is getting darker, so he’s probably gonna look like book!Percy by the time season 2 films.

I can see why Walker would like to have that Luke/Annabeth thing in the show, it would certainly be interesting to see the tension between them, and acting-wise would be fun to do.

I would agree as well but I think the sibling/ found family dynamic that Annabeth and Luke already have established in the show could hit twice as much. It already has that gut punch in the books but it's just overshadowed by the fact that she has a crush on him so she's never really gotten over. I feel like a great substitute would be that she couldn't get over him because she feels like she can save him, which I don't think she did or that she was filled with guilt.
However, her having a crush could still work, as long as it doesn't go both ways
As a Capricorn and coincidentally share the same birthday as Walker, I can relate lol I do use emojis but only at times on twitter. I only use them excessively when I exaggerate the stuff I say.
This might be one of the few times where I get to share abt having the same birthdays. Not that I haven't known someone before but everytime I think about it I always find it fascinating.

I remember thinking back then that my birthday is so lame because it's right after Christmas and celebrations and everybody's winding down and back to their normal lives and it feels like an insignificant day in the year lol. But now I've only got to know a lot of cool people and realizing that we share the same birthday! So it might not be as bad as I thought

He's so Percy Jackson
This was so fun to see him talk about the books. This series in particular just has a lot going on and its...quite an adventure. Honestly, I hope you get him back and be in on any episode for each book as you cover this series. Most likely Percy is an interesting character to talk about once you get into Son of Neptune and House of Hades (and for every fans out there, you'll know) its great. He has some good character arc in this series as well. I also hope you get to chat with the guy who really loves this series and is a big Leo stan, Aryan!

@@newestolympian PLEASE DO. As I said, some iconic noteworthy Percy moments are coming underway in book 2 and book 4. I'm pretty sure he knows what I'm talking about all too well, and I'm confident that he likes to talk about this since he's already gotten to talk about them briefly on his Monster Donut interview. It's probably one of the many reasons why Percy was a rightfully hyped up character in the riordanverse as well. I hope you'll have Aryan talk about Leo as well.
I feel like Percy's jealousy of Luke is partly also friendship jealousy! Like Percy didn't have friends or a life before Camp Half Blood and Annabeth is one of Percy's first friends besides Grover. However, Annabeth was very close to Thalia and Luke AND Percy has felt excluded from her and Annabeth's relationship at the beginning of the Titan's Curse. I feel like Annabeth's relationship with her first found family just taps some kind of insecurity of Percy's from his previous mortal life, and he feels sad he's left out of a part of Annabeth's life, a person he's especially close to.
I just saw a pigeon for the first time ever, in Colorado, and I honestly thought they only were in New York as well.

Excellent episode, I don't care who it is I just enjoy hearing well-spoken people who are passionate talk about the things they love. It reminds me of hearing the Lord of the Rings actors talk about the books, no wonder Walker Scobell is such an excellent choice for Percy since he knows the character and the material so well. We all have things that we’re interested in and things we could care less about. In Walker’s case I suspect that birds fall into that later category. Hence, his lack of knowledge about pigeon habitat.
