The PN airflow and suction reminds me of the SRX airflow and suction. A lot of cash for inexpensive bagless performance. Thanks as always for posting these tests. 👍
Again another interesting test. I wonder if the low airflow is due to the air forced to go underwater. HYLA sells these here in Finland. Very expensive, but I was lucky to buy Wessel Werk EBK 340 from a lady who had a HYLA. She didn't like weight of the ph so I got it very cheaply.
A good question. I think vaclab found little to no difference in Rainbows with or without water though the inlet on this is a little lower under the water line so that may have some effect. Nice! the EBK340 should be quite the improvement over the SEB217 you were using.
Not bad performance numbers for something that's water filtrated (still not very good though), I've never been too fond of the Hyla vacuums, but all I see of them is that they're essentially a European version of a Rainbow.
maybe water won’t capture 100 % but it also depends on the person for example i’ve seen videos of people using their rainbows and the water gets too dirty it can’t move anymore that is a big no because they rely on the water moving around to capture dust number 2 it also depends on how much they fill their basins i see tons of videos of people filling their rainbow too low and then there isn’t enough water to capture all the dust but anyways great video though
There will be some variance in the effectiveness of it but I do think they should have some sort of post motor filtration especially when the price in the 2K range
The Rainbows have more raw power definitely, but there is a little more airflow and I do mean a little bit at the nozzle of the Hyla which can be attributed to that narrow air path in the rainbow PN2

@@Blackheartvacs Oh yes EBK340 is very nice if I don't use it with too high cfm vacuums. Otherwise it clams down to the medium pile carpet.
@@vacuumtests9225 I think you need an EBK360 then which has a height adjustment.
@@Blackheartvacs That would be ideal. I have used Sebo ET1 with eBay adapter to fit 35 and 32mm pipes. It works much better for my carpet.

I mean any separator based canister feels like a Rainbow copy cause they are.

@@Blackheartvacs yes I agree
Just better than rainbow D4 but not better than E2
