- Recorded on Monday the 29th of January 2024. I go into the history of the village of Pengam which was part of the Rhymney valley, now part of the Caerphilly county borough of South Wales valleys. Neighbouring villages are Gelligaer, Hengoed and Tyr Y Berth. Lewis boys school where MP Neil Kinnock attended. There is also the statue " The Lady of the valley" which represents a mother overlooking the children of the village. Nearby is a manor house called Llancaiach Fawr manor. The video also includes Bargoed woodland park.
Que felicidad verte de nuevo.... Andrew Dexter.... perdona mi español... I live in Colombia, and I like to watch your works.....
Thank you, I'm absolutely delighted.
Great Video ! Keep up the great work
Thank you 👍
Well done Andrew, your narrative is easy to follow and you deliver it in a relaxed and off the cuff manner.
Many thanks!
Great video mate
Thank you, I really look forward to doing a video with you very soon.
Well Done Andrew nice bit of history :-)) Keith
Thank you Keith. Please watch out for a musical number next video with a guy from Australia, Eamon Spillane, professional musician, guitarist and flautist, specialized in Celtic folk music. I plan to do my own singing videos like you but I haven't found the right guitarist, I love your videos so I'm always delighted to hear from you. Best wishes from Andrew.
Cheers Andrew looking forward to your music :-)) @@thecelticdruid7707
i was listening in the shower bro, it makes me miss being in St Davids so much!!
Thank you so much for watching. I will be making a video about St David. Thank you again for your comment, always welcome. All the very best to you from Andrew.
Great content. Llancaiach Fawr mentioned how are things going there, not been for many years. It use to be great, people pretending to be from the period.
Hi there? I plan to do a video around Llancaiach Fawr manor. Thank you for your welcome reply and for watching.
Most of this video is about Glan Y Nant not Pengam.
