Yeah agree with most of the previous posts, try the pre cut profiled side door piece first, it looks really nice and maintains a little more originality. If it does not work you can always fabricate another piece.

I dig fitting the original pieces on the sides! ...Newk from Kentucky

A lot of people look at rat rods and think they're just junk pieces of metal thrown together. They have no idea the amount of work and measuring and what have you that goes into it. Great job as always! And thanks for posting this video. By the way I think you should go with the original piece there on the front. I like the look of it

Shroud looks and fits great. I kinda like the side piece. Hood needs something back there to give it a finished look.

She's looking great and nice job on the shroud. I'd use that piece except I don't really like the way it comes to a point on the bottom. How about having the bottom rounded to give it a more smooth ending. Later

Nice fan shroud. Again, I really like the rivets. I need to make one for my truck. It didn't have one originally. Like others have said, you should use the original piece for that hood section. It will flow with everything perfectly and look like it should.

Fabulous build on the cowling 👍👍👍Just an idea for the hood how's about using the remainder of the original hood and fit it above the stacks and step it down with a ram air scoop type of effect so the top and bottom kinda overlap and you can mesh it up. As for the side panel I say keep it with the trim flowing through to the back 👍👍👍🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Hi, Robert here, I wanna ask you a question, I see you like using rivets, they look cool, better than, the welding, but do they strengthen the the part more? I must admit, I do like the look, never would have thought of it myself. Keep up the good work, as I like you explaining things out as you do them, an not putting it all to just music, like most others do. I do like it when ones, more experienced than me, likes to talk, explain things out, I do like the old school stuff, an videos longer than 10/15 minutes.

Hey Robert thanks for watching. I actually think welding would be stronger but the rivets are good to be more than strong enough.

Came out great but man that fan is loud! It looks like your tunnel ram top could be on backwards. Usually angled the other way to keep the carbs level. Use what you original parts you can.
