I've known Andy for years so I have seen this before but isant it awsome people I'm suer you agree! You can't do it every wher but it's so clever! And we'll thaught out approach! Well done the fin!!!!
Makes absolute sense. Especially fishing into a tight spot where poles are waving over the heads and spooking fish. It makes sense for fisheries to allow this because it also avoids feeders and line snagging on the far bank and interfering with wildlife. He’s a genius. Disagree with some of the the previous shallow comments
Especially with how lychgate used to be , it's had a makeover now but used to have loads of vegetation coming off the far banks and by doing this it was the only way you could get under the bushes and to the bank .. this was just a demonstration and he did mention doing it on the right peg , those saying easier to fish the pole or learn to cast accurate before the makeover would have found themselves fishing 5ft off the bank or fishing for squirrels 😅
I never cube meat I use a pellet punch that way it looks like a pellet but gives the fish a different taste and texture to hard pellets it always gets me more bites and bigger fish
This is going to sound stupid to a lot of people,BUT, I’ve just purchased the x 50 pole, I’ve had a 20 year break and I’m really confused about the potting kit that comes with the pole, can anyone please help me, is it telescopic, tried that and failed, got a funny plastic thing hanging out of one end, please help
34:28 I've never seen any rules regarding none use of this method at fisheries I've been to, Woodlands, Lindholme, Moorfield, is it more of a club rule.
These comments are comical , its ok saying its a waste of time or the pole would be better etc ...until you have fished lychgate or watched fin comfortably obliterate the lake doing this then you should probably keep the comments to yourself ...he gives away alot more tips than most on his videos
Technically your using two rods so I imagine you can’t use this in a match. Fishing gone mad now it’s all about chasing the money and pushing the rules to the limit.
@@deanwinnard7774it's essentially using 2 rods at a time,so you're not in control of the feeder rod until the pole is down. . It's like feeder fishing and tgen6 spodding over the top with another rod.

Brilliant video, Andy is the ultimate thinking angler. Well done, pal
Great video Andy & what a great tip thanks for sharing this mate 👍🎣

Excellent video and very informative. Thanks.
6:20 bloody hell … these size 18s today would have been a size 14 back in the day 😂
Loving the comments guys😂😂😂
Keep em coming 👍👍👍

See you in an hour .. no cupping the feeder in on A8 or A15 to the far bank 😅
Does the backshot still make this a free running rig?
Just makes it death rig, terrible angling’s
would this tactic work on a canal or does the venue have to be stuffed full of pellet caught carp
Great method but the shot above the feeder is a horrible idea. I would never want to leave a tethered fish on a break.
Death rig, how they push this content crazy
Is this not unsafe as a rig? 2ssg being towed around along with a feeder if it breaks above?
The venue allows this
@@UKprestoninnovations Wasnt the question
@@UKprestoninnovationsit’s deathly plain and simple. Going make video on how terrible this is, how are pushing this content
It’s deathly rig simple

Double rule break at most fisheries. Poling in is a no no all over the place and back shot isn’t a free running feeder 😂
This venue allows this within the rules :)
Been trying to get this to work for awhile now, I’ll take some tips from this and give it another go.
Thanks lads
Been doing this for years.
same here...

It is telescopic. Simply pull the section out to the desired length.

Top info yet again andy.
P.s the shadow behind the camera is quite annoying
This comment is more annoying!
I didn't even notice 😂
Lesson on how to loose a rod 😂 I’ve caught carp within seconds of hitting the water. If it’s not hacking at you with wind fish the pole
Preston gripper rest should stop loosing your mind
Clever
Why not attach a pole rig to a feeder rod , that'll mix things up even more 😊
Hahaha
Can't you just fish the method on the pole? Killer tactic
why not fish pole feeder.

If they could only see the fin bagging up opposite or couple pegs down from you in a match, they would change their views, lol 😂

Or its people opinion?
@@darrengallagher2098it is people's opinion, so before they comment why don't they go down to lychgate and take him on by using the pole instead

OMG we are now not casting with the rod. Are not go the whole hog and use a bait boat.
Pole fishing with a feeder is old method tbh

The rules at the venue allow this.
There is a good reason this is banned from a lot of waters.
What's the good reason
People are winning doing it 😂
It's not banned at any of the waters that I fish.

Great vid Andy but do y ever smile .?
He certainly does!
Just learn to cast accurately. Be it 7mts or 70mts 😊😊
The fin is one of the best in the world at casting. But, due to the overhanging vegetation at this venue you cannot cast tight enough.

What a waste of time non sense
Pointless the pole would outfish that method here 8:1 .. I don’t see the point 🤷🏼♂️
It completely eliminates foul hooking
Check the results from this fishery, you'll soon see that it doesn't!
