The blue LED lights used for the background of most introductions done on Wi-Fi Sheep do look cool (If I say so myself) But there is a problem.... They eat batteries! Which is not only annoying but also expensive.
So can we convert these to run from the mains?

Great ides moving to a USB power supply, especially if you were going through that many batteries. I just wonder why you didn't solder in to the back on the battert terminals? Might have made for a neater finish in terms of putting the plastic cover back on?
Good question! So I though about doing that, but 1) I still wanted to be able to switch back to batteries again in the future if required and 2) Id have still needed holes in the sides as these clip into fixed mounts under the shelfs, so i'd still be cutting holes!
I will admit this was a little rushed, as it was done in the dying days of 2022 and I needed these lights not failing on me during the new years live stream. So there was an element of PANIC! LOL
