Rose, the honest anxiety chat was so helpful and insightful. So thankful that you have found the strength to challenge your ocd and anxieties. Talking to close family is really hard. You are doing amazingly (didn’t mean to sound so patronising!) but I’m just so in awe watching you do your flying lessons and challenging your biggest fear. You’re inspirational.❤

Thank you so much your honesty and sharing your feelings. I suffer from depression and anxiety and the pandemic really took a toll on me. I’m still not the person I was before the pandemic. Not physically, mentally, or emotionally. Everyday, though, I just try to live in the moment and appreciate everything I have. It helps. I related so hard to you saying it’s harder to talk to relatives the older and more established you are & that the pressure to be perfect feels doubled because you feel like you have something to prove because you are gay. My wife and I just began our lives together as a married couple and those fears are SO isolating at times. I can’t say how validating it felt to hear that I am not alone! So I guess what I am saying is thanks for suffering because it has made me feel a bit better hahaha. Loved the vlog as always and the horse fetish joke sprinkled in for good measure. It's genuinely inspiring to hear that she is learning to fly; fear can be so crippling and create such doubt, so for someone to confront that fear head on is truly incredible. Wish I had that kind of strength right now.

Thank you for sharing Rose! I feel like I hit a point 2 months ago and felt similar in a way that if I didn’t do something about isolating myself more and more due to mental health I would perhaps never crawl out of it. I got a second non commitment on my own terms job outside my house since I work remote and it has helped tremendously paired with my therapy sessions. Slowly but surely I feel I’m gaining myself back and growing. 🤗💕🐸

I really admire you Rose for opening up like this. We can all be guilty at times of putting too much pressure on ourselves and drowning under weight of everything. Particularly when you have a young family. Talking to loved ones is so important to help keep your sanity. When all said and done it’s your health and your loved ones that matter the most. You do such a great job Rose in spreading laughter joy and hope to so many people. Alway remember that and take care of yourself.

The back to back content has been holding me together at work these last few days, and overall the last 8 years ive been watching you two
thank you for your honesty. I recently made the move to the UK, but unfortunately due to a mixture of things like culture shock, loneliness and work stress I had a breakdown. Severe overwhelming anxiety followed by depression. I couldn't leave the house, catch a bus properly....everything became so scary. unfortunately it's meant I had to make a decision to move back to New Zealand. which also scares me as I'd hoped to give the UK a good shot, and wasn't expecting to have to be back there for years if at all.
I'm proud of you for challenging yourself and getting out there, tackling your fears. Inspiration.

Rose you are SO brave for doing flying lessons. I have such extreme fear of heights/flying that even thinking about being on a plane makes my palms sweat and I get a terrible feeling in my gut. The fact that you are taking the bull by the horns like that is truly badass.

Kudos to you Rose for trying to conquer your fears and anxiety. I know things can be overwhelming nowadays but most esp. when you’re creating a home. Having a child and having to deal with a new house (and construction) are no easy tasks. And on top of that, you have to take care of Rosie too. No wonder you’re at your breaking point. It’s amazing actually that you’ve kept it together for quite awhile. Just don’t forget yourself, your family needs you. 👍🏼🙂🐶🐈

@@FwogsRule I've seen that lots of people have had really bad experiences with it. There's lots of UA-cam videos and tiktoks where people open up about their awful experiences with it. But I'm really glad you've not experienced that!
I’ve had a really amazing experience with better help but a friend didn’t. It’s all about the relationship. You can easily switch therapists if the fit isn’t right.

Flying Lessons! Given how you have spoken about flying in the past thats amazing. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you progress. I have a whole suite of those books from 2015 when I did my PPL. When my share-o-plane is eventually fixed and I can start travelling around again I'll have to bring it down your way and take you for a spin (not literally though 😵💫).
Being able to speak to people about problems is undoubtedly one of the best things, be it a deep conversation or a rant about something that you can't control but need to get off your chest.

Lock down pushed me to the max. Lost my partner of 39 yrs to cancer. Could not be at hospital with her for the last month. But made it through the past 3 years. But I understand the highs and lows of everyday life. Keep pushing yourself. Oh and I have OCD also.

Hi Rose- love you and Rosie both and ur vlogs. Just a genuine question, where you describe your anxiety seems v relatable and if I can say so- pretty commendable to open urself up like that. Do you highlight a certain aspect of your life because you’re being sponsored or is it the case that you are going through what you are and therefore seek to work with organisations that you are using personally? I doubt they’d open up like that if they didn’t have that sponsorship tbh. As soon as Rose started talking about her anxiety I thought “here comes BetterHelp” and yep I was right. Kind of ruined the whole thing for me.

Betterhelp is awful. Please look into some of the stories that are out there before promoting it.
@@kristenm412 I'm glad you had a good experience but that's not the case for a lot of people. Their vetting system is not good and a lot of their therapists aren't even properly qualified.
