You didn’t have to complete the DLC story for Perrins quest. The trigger for her quest is completing the kitakami side of her story and collecting 200 pokemon for the part 2 dex
So I would have to start a new game with the DLC to get extra of the two "Iron Pokemon" from indigo disk. Just to trade to get Gouging Fire and Lightening Bolt.
