Hard to believe this album is almost ten years old, it was honestly released at the peak of the Metalcore scene.
I accidently found them on myspace they had like 70,090 fans and they had some live footage up on youtube. I downloaded their first record from limewire and became a fan since then.

That was the first thing I thought all those years ago when I first listened to this album. Just how damn good the drumming is.
it was programmed :(. Their drummer is awesome and played all these live when they toured the album, but on the album itself they're programmed

Dvla false I saw them play it live at their hometown show in december and at attack attacks cd release show in 2008 and jerod played the same track you hear on this exact song.

This song and that outro section alone cements them as one of the metalcore greats.
I was so fortunate to hear these guys in Chillicothe ohio at a small venue with maybe 30 ppl. They played all the songs off this album and it was fucking insane. They sounded so goddamn amazing live. I don’t even thing they were signed yet.

Hey all of you. What I want you guys to do is search up the song "In Dying Days" by As Blood Runs Black on youtube even if you already know the song. Then Skip the song to about :30 seconds, and you'll find the drum riff at that part of the song and the opening drum riff of this song veeeery, very similar. Yep.

By the time he says the word "Here" around 2:54, Its one of the heavy things ive heard in my life. I wish I knew more metalcore bands that had really good high screams, I'm not as impressed with mids and lows.

High screams are the best screams. Some of ADESTRIA's stuff has great highs, listen to the first album Memphis May Fire released, that has some great screams on it with some awesome guitar
