- Well, my 14+ year old Nerf bars failed due to corrosion. I took a chance on these steps via Amazon. $149 and free shipping! Shipped to my house in under a week. So far I really like them. They are what I would call light duty but dang easy to install and look good. I like them better than my good old nerf bars.

76" Flat running boards - They have that Raptor styling but different enough to look good on any F150
Item-features
*High strength aluminum board can withstand 500 lbs on either passenger or driver side.
*Textured black powder coat finish for corrosion protection and durability.
*Massive 6 inch wide solid one piece broads, provides a extra wide step area for secure footing.
*Easy bolt-on installation. No drilling required.
I did not get these running boards, however I got some with crappy installation papers. Because of your clear video I will be able to figure them out. Thank you
Let us know how it works out for you. Feel free to pass on any additional tips you come up with as you install.
I’m installing some 2003 f150 drop steps on my 2000 Explorer. I just need to drill some holes in the rocker panels and they’ll fit perfectly, since they’re the right length. This video has been helpful.
Nice and easy as love the simplicity of the mounting hardware....Good stuff...
It was harder to film than actually do. lol
Quick n easy and at a Great price too. Good to see you stranger
Giggidy
Good work Cobra
thanks
Great video Cobra. That's a good looking rig you have!!
Indeed
It's about time you come back my 2w2 brother!
I'm always around...except when I'm not
On this episode of the handy Cobra..lol. Nice and simple
And Bingo was his Name-o
Oh man watching I need these on my 150 as well mine didn’t have any. I just might get the same.
I like them so far. Time will tell how well they hold up. I got a link to the ones I got in the description box
super easy install forsure a great job following torq specs and all buddy thumbs up and shared looks great
Thank you Sir. Install was pretty dang easy
Where I live in Canada, the metal rocker panel rot out so the running boards fall off because they're attached to rust which is falling off.
InternetDude Is there an under coating that would help prevent rust? Or do you just go without steps?
yeah but 99% of the population doesn't do anything so rust is very common. Undercoating is very much the wrong product for rust protection, something like Fluid Film is the perfect thing. My steps are still attached (factory chrome nerf style) on my current 03 F150, but on my previous 02 F150 they crunched when you stepped on them and eventually they sagged down and I took them off.
Nice job, looks good!
those should help getting in and out especially in winter.. No more injuries.
They are nice to step up on. Had to do something since my old nerf bars literally rusted off the truck. Moisture inside the tubes. Hopefully these new steps hold up for a while
Sweet bro Hope all is well I will leave a like and continue watching Have a great weekend
Thanks, much appreciated
Crazy they are $227 right now
Everything has gone up in price for sure now a days.
Thanks for this video man! you the best
Thank you
These won’t work for me. I’m missing the whole Rocker and what’s behind it I live in the rust belt
Bummer
Are the green bags driver or passenger side. Mine aren’t marked
Sorry I don't recall as mine were marked (vid is from 2018). Hopefully you can contact the seller/manufacturer and find out.
Installed a set of running boards with one hand absolutely awesome. Can you play guitar? Glad to see you back Sir
only in my dreams
Could you provide the name and part number for this running board, Thanks
This is the Amazon link: amzn.to/2u23hoi However looks like they are currently unavailable. But the link has the info and may be a good start point for similar options.
Nice ....but friends don't let friends drive Ford's😂😂Only kidding nice install...
Argh
Curious if these are still holding up, or how long did they hold up without rust?
They are still on my truck. So far so good for being so cheap. I don't see them on Amazon anymore though so not sure what they have currently that is comparable.
Nice.
Look-in good Vern ... Looking REAL good!
See what I did right there?
ebomey REAL clever

Hey. Question. I lost the golden brackets that go into the running boards that connect it to the mounts. Any suggestions where I can get replacements? Can’t find the vendor or these running boards on Amazon anymore unfortunately
Unfortunately I do not know
Make em ?
Hey so I got a question. I have a 1999 f150 supercab/extended cab. The running boards I like say they fit the 97-03 f250 and no one can tell me if I can make them work on an f150. I’ve seen some people put the f150 stuff on the f250 but I’ve not seen people put f250 stuff on an f150. Can you tell me if they’d fit? I was gonna measure off my friend’s truck but his is a crew cab so we can’t compare them
Should fit. Here is an example that says it does: amzn.to/3NMQX3r
@@TheRealCobraBurnout thank you so much. I’m really liking a specific style that they don’t make specially for my year model F150. Again, thank you so much and have a wonderful day
@@kanebrown2406 Hopefully it works out. Maybe possible to email or call the company that makes them to verify as well.
@@TheRealCobraBurnout thank you so much. There’s just not a lot of options for the 97-03 f150s when it comes to running boards.
good jjob
thanks
Right Side The Driver's Side???
Denny Anderson no. In America the left side of the vehicle is the "Driver" side. All orientation for vehicles and aircraft is taken as if you are at the rear looking forward.
Better.
thanks
How are the side steps holding up?
So far so good!
Those came out nice. Glocked 17 here..changed my channel name.
Groovy!
Can I put these on a crew cab ?
F150 supercrew? No, you'll have to find the model that fits your truck. The ones in this video Fit 1999-2003 Ford F150 Super Cab/Extended Cab With 2 Half Size Rear Doors Only.
What type of wheels are those
Stock
I am trying to find them amazon... can anyone help
