  • Raising children is one of the most greatest blessings that we have had the opportunity to experience. However, it isn't an easy task. These souls that the LORD trusts us nurture and love is a great responsibility. In today's episode, we discuss our regrets in the things we allowed our children to partake in, in hopes that it will help and be a blessing to whomever chooses to watch.

You two are absolutely right! Protecting children from a world of contamination (external influences) in a contaminated world can only happen if the parents first cleanse themselves to truly apply Proverbs 22:6. What you have shared is truly important!

I'd like to start off by saying, that through your beautiful children, I have found this channel. Praise be to God for this. As a 22 y/o man, I have no experience being a parent whatsoever. However, I have a young niece and nephew of my sister, and she is not a Christian, let alone a believer in God. But I want to teach my niece and nephew about God, and Jesus the messiah. Yet I can't, they aren't my kids, so its a hard feeling. And, yall mentioned youth groups, my Granddaddy raised me in the church of Christ. And when my brothers and I were young, there was a very small youth group with a youth minister. And our church
had a annex, and whenever we had events in there, the youth group of kids, would all go inside this room, except my brothers and I weren't allowed. So even at that age, we questioned why, so with our curiosity, we would try to sneak in. So when we tried to enter we noticed they were all watching a TV, and once entering they kicked us out, and locked it. And we keep buggin them, so much that the youth minister chased us out to the parking lot, in his underwear, throwing ice at us. My brothers and I were blamed too!!! Its shocking to realize the severity of this as an adult. And the same and worse things happen in public schooling. A good shepherd lays his life down for his flock!!! ( Protection and guidance) but a bad shepherd leaves his flock to the wilderness ( the corruption). Im so glad yall are good shepherds, not just to your children, but to us on UA-cam!!! Shalom Shalom.

Noah, We are so glad to have you here! I am glad you know about our children's channels, as it is nice for both them and the viewers to have a community where they can converse with other like-minded young people around their ages.
May the LORD show you how you can impact the lives of your precious neice and nephew. May He give you the opportunity to show them through your life, Who He is and what He has done for you. I will add this to our prayer list.
We appreciate you sharing your story with us. I have very similar stories, growing up in a christian school, and going to many lock-ins and such. Praise our Heavenly Father for keeping you on His narrow path and leading you in His ways of righteousness. One of our sons is your age and we know what you all are facing in this world, but we also know that He is faithful and He is the good Shepherd, Who cares for His sheep. Keep the course, dear brother in Christ. May His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. May you keep His Word hidden in your heart that you might not sin against the Most High.

I appreciate y'all so much! As I thought about what you said it occurred to me that my biggest parenting regrets are church related. Isn't that something? The very thing society demands, creates an atmosphere that can really wound our children. If I could go back and change certain things, I surely would protect our dear son from some deep and unnecessary hurts. Sadly, we can't go back, but we can ask for forgiveness and move forward, making better and wiser choices, as we learn from our mistakes. I'm so thankful we serve a merciful and forgiving God, and hopefully our children can forgive us, too. May God richly bless you dear ones.🙏❤😊

We appreciate you! And yes, sadly, it's true. Praise God, Who kept our children from falling into the grasp of the enemy, while opening our eyes to see. God bless you and yours, my sister!

It's true , most youth groups I have attended did not bear good fruit they did the opposite. One youth group had most of the members years later , have forsaken their faith & now their either atheists or
    New agers .

This is so sad, but true. I (Nacole) attended a christian school from kindergarten to 10th grade, and I have noticed the same in the lives of many of those who attended with me. May our Father have mercy on them, as He did for you and me.
