Looked at this real nice 1989 Dodge Dynasty today. Minty interior, real nice paint job. Rust wasn't too bad either.
Interesting "diagnosis" on how it ended up in the yard.

People laugh at me when I keep waxing my vehicles long after the paint has disappeared & the finish is long gone. Whenever I’m caught out in the snow, pushing snow off my car is a snap. Especially if there is ice on the bottom layer.
Personally I’m surprised at people when they junk cars that are old & with a few dollars can make them road worthy again. Why someone would want new all the time is beyond me? New comes with higher personal taxes, higher insurance premiums & higher repair costs. This Dynasty appears to be “new enough” to warrant another tens years of driving. Instead it’s tossed away because someone thought it was time to let it go? I would love to have a car like that as a commuter car. People never seem to surprise me with their short sightedness.

Thank you! I was sad to say the least. My thought is they did or had someone do some work and they thought the transmission went when it was instead that CV axle and didn't think much after that.
@@MNMoparMinivan What surprises me is that the junkyard doesn’t have a holding area for cars that are near perfect to be sold as used.
Instead if putting it in the yard for the picking. They could get more for selling the car than for the parts? My guess is this was a deceased person’s car. No one in the family wanted it & they gave it away or hauled off for scrap?
Could use some parts off this car if it's still around.....

This car doesn't belong there All you need to do is put tires on it and a battery and pay for the car and drive away
I think it all it needed was a front cv axle!

@@adamandtashawilliams8251 I think it was crushed a couple months ago. They do not sell vehicles at this location unfortunately. If they did, I think I'd be bankrupt
