- If you're thinking about going to Atlantic City, this is where you will want to stay!
It's great year round because they have the hottest pool and pool party in town even in the Winter! I filmed this video a week ago and it was still warm enough to walk the beach barefoot - but during this time of year that is rare 😅
Most of the casinos in Atlantic City are all spread out, unlike Vegas. You will end up taking a cab or driving between most of them. That's why I love to keep Harrah's as my home base because it is not only the most affordable casino in Atlantic City with the cheapest table games, but it's also right next to Borgata which is another of my favorites!

0:33 from my experience it’s typically 10 “tier credits” you need to earn at the slots to get the free parking. Otherwise, if you aren’t gambling at all, parking is typically $10-$20 (which isn’t too bad considering what Hard Rock or casinos in Vegas charge 😅)

You do NOT have to scan your room key to use the elevator. The pool is NOT open 24/7. The pool is NOT free to hotel guests, hasn’t been for a couple years.
When I stayed there in November we had to scan to use the elevator AND the pool was open and free as long as there wasn't some sort of pool party event (also not free for the night swim but just contact a promoter and get on the free guest list for free entry.) Not sure how long ago you went there but everything I said has been relevant every time I have gone to Harrahs over the past ten years.
We’re there 2-3 times per month for the past 10 years or so. Since covid reopening 6/21 there is a fee ($10 weekedays, $20 weekends) to use the pool. Covid cleaning fee they call it. Did away with room key for the elevators for the same reason, covid. This is how it is now and was in 11/22.
They now do charge hotel guests for the pool (I think it's relatively recent). $20/room for up to 2 guests, $10 for any additional guests. And if it's Saturday, $20 per person, not just per room. That's just for regular hours; all the special events they schedule there cost even more.
I actually wouldn't mind the pool charge too much except they schedule so many other events there that cost even more, it can be impossible to get in for the basic $20/room on a weekend. @@travelandledger
@@travelandledger Also, thanks for doing this review. :) We really did enjoy Harrah's but they seem to have jacked up extra charges for everything in recent months/years, which made it a little less enjoyable. I'd still stay there again though.
I'm also curious about the pool being open 24/7 because at the 2:29 mark, it clearly shows that it's open from 9am until 5 or 6pm, depending on the day.

I was wondering is kids not allowed in the pool or is there other pool for gamily with kids?
Yeah no kids it is a 21+ pool
Sadly parking is no longer free to hotel guests ($10/day for guests, more for non-guests).
There is a way to earn free parking by earning 10 tier credits gambling (and it's advertised around the hotel), but actually getting that free parking as a hotel guest and not a day guest, is like unraveling the Riddle of the Sphinx.
If you're even a low-level gambler, the 10 tier credits are easily earned, but if you're a hotel guest, the parking will be added automatically to your bill anyway, even though you've printed out the slip from the kiosk which gets you out the gate for free. (You normally use your hotel key as your gate exit, but if you've got the voucher, you use that instead.)
The only way we solved it was by having the manager remove our 2 nights of parking from our bill after we showed him the free parking slip, but it was an ordeal. There's got to be a better way.

Pool is not free. Standard charge per hotel room and a higher charge if you are not staying at this hotel
Whenever you stay at a "resort casino" they charge you a "resort fee" as part of your rate which is charged at the same time.. this includes the pool, gym, etc. If you are a rewards member you can get free rooms and often resorts fees waived so its a full comp. It is free to use unless there is an event like the night club or a day party (but you can meet a promoter online / in the casino and get put on the guest list or check w the front desk to get put on a guest list for free entry) Otherwise yes the pool is free for guests. And yes you can pay a day pass to use any pool at any casino you aren't staying at as well. Hope that helps 😃

Finding leftover food in the fridge, ughhh! Room not cleaned properly.
It has not happened to me at Harrah's before but I wanted to be transparent with this experience. They were near capacity the week I was there so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were just trying to clean fast. But yeah we didn't use the fridge 😅
Just hand it to the cleaning staff on floor and get over it instead of calling desk and complaining
