If you are going to use it as a primary ssd (like your moving your windows in it )buy any gen.4 like crucial p3 plus or samsung.... Or if you are going to buy as storage ssd make sure to buy 2tb it won't matter if its gen 3 becouse the performance will not make day night difference you are going to use it as storage so more is better

See the laptops you have mentioned & you need to work on color grade work...then Nitro 5 is having 2k display & powerfull GPU also...little bit battery life is a concern....rest hinges are good no issue with that

While checking the speed check u r using correct software & then check speed is not being utilized in any other app
