    I think medical students would benefit largely from AR, particularly when learning about human anatomy, biology, and for practical purposes such as surgery.

      I say that to my wife. She's an RN. Being able to see their stats by just looking at them, and being able to log their status to their file as she interacts with them would cut down her work load to a 3rd of what it is.

    Could be a good tool for stagnating culture or rapidly transforming reality.
    I think that you are predicting the future of AR using cognitive models that are somewhere from pre-2000 Anno Domini.
    This may as advanced as AR gets in 7 years but beyond that it will become a foot race in to imagination.

    This is awesome! I know that 2030 is just seven years away from us now and will get here quickly due to how fast time goes by. I want to use augmented reality. This is awesome to give more details about something! I can't wait for 2030 and beyond!

    AR sounds so cool and ut's actually one of the most exciting technologies out there for me at the moment! ...But one thing is a bit scary for me... cameras! Cameras everywhere and no privacy, right? :/ Like how could we even solve this problem? The glasses just need cameras to be useful or what do you think? I mean you could use stationary tracking devices everywhere so you can do stuff without cameras, but then you can't do that much with it.

    Glass tech, while cool, isn't currently possible. Probably won't be for another 50 years. We'll have something closer to Immersed's Visor. A thin shield that resembles sunglasses with inside out tracking and passthrough. Think of it this way. All of the tech inside the current VR HMD's are only going to get smaller and cheaper as time progresses. It's already light enough to work in. In 10 to 15 years. It'll be part of our daily carry. But, only as long as we standardize this technology now at the enterprise and desktop computing level.

    Great video on the future of Augmented Reality! 🌟 We're curious, what do you think will be the most game-changing application of AR in our daily lives by 2030? Will it be in education, healthcare, or something entirely unexpected? Share your thoughts!

    • @FlockofSmeagles
      @FlockofSmeagles 7 місяців тому

      Do you wear contacts? Contacts aren't very comfortable as the currently are. Having tiny electronics in them would make them extremely rigid. Odd's are that contacts aren't coming anytime in foreseeable future. People won't adopt the technology.

    I wonder about the translator tech: will it improve as in, will they finally get the correct translations or be given comically incorrect ones to decipher...UA-cam being one of the worst at translations, kinda pathetic since Alphabet seems to either not care or is incompetent.

    • @elias8981
      @elias8981 Рік тому

      In 2030, AI voice to text will be so advanced (it is already advanced yet but will be even more), so this kind of projection isn't that much unrealistic. UA-cam's translation doesn't reflect today's state of this technology

      You're just not thinking of it with a large enough scope. Think of AR as a supplement to everything that you do.
      All of our outside activities will only become more sophisticated.
      Our work will become more stream lined.
      Our creativity in our home lives will be enhanced.
      This video isn't a good example of what that would be like. His idea of it is a bit dystopian. I don't think people would enjoy being constantly barraged with information like what you see in this video. It will most likely be minimal for the every day user. Information only cropping up when you opt to view it. You'll still have your attention seekers, your escapists, and your profiteers. That's only natural.
      But in the end. It will only be as boring as you choose to be. That's pretty cool.

    • @JxSTICK
      @JxSTICK 11 місяців тому +1

      Not only more negative, but also more positive, both will get more extreme, like we can live more healthy cause we can easily see what's healthy for us in wallmart that way etc., but yeah on the other hand things like social media, video games will be even more addicting ofcourse and people get so much guidance that we will become even dumber, if we don't use this tech wisely..

    • @diodelvino3048
      @diodelvino3048 11 місяців тому

      Eventually AR tech will become more mainstream and affordable and then it'll probably get to a point where portability is so effective people will use them in day to day life in A.R. Could be used in schools it'll probably become more common with more interactive and enhanced learning experiences. Even facial recognition and searching random peoples faces (creepy). Im excited for advanced tech like this but as it grows, human to human interactions are gonna be way less "human" when ever A.R. becomes mainstream enough like smart phones.

    • @FlockofSmeagles
      @FlockofSmeagles 7 місяців тому

      Thinking this way is counter productive. It's going to happen whether or not you want it to. The best thing to do is come up with ways that it can help people, and try to manifest it into reality.
      Another thing to consider is that the dumb only get dumber, and smart only get smarter. Social media only amplifies their voices. They've always existed. The radical, the stupid, and the insane are just easier to see. There's no use in worrying about how they embrace it. The onus is on you to practice healthy habits and rituals in your own life.
