      Thank you mate. We've been overly consumed with production of our other three TV shows but the demand was still so high for the original 4wd TV and specifically UA-cam content that we just had to bring it back. This is our second episode in the new series and the third will go up next Monday! Thanks for watching!

    Being the guide looks like a fair workout. Vehicles take a beating. Came to watch the Iveco and how she goes. Great video.
    Was wondering if you guys ever gave some 6x6 conversions a go on that type of going? (Yes kinda defeats the 4WD TV bit)

      Yes, if you watch the Mallee magic Series on here and Five Forests in Five Days, we have the LC6x6 along on both.

    How's the Iveco going. Has it been reliable. Love the platform just not the price.

    • @4WDTV
      @4WDTV  4 роки тому +3

      Price is actually quite reasonable. When you put it up against a Landcruiser , it is less than the 200 and a bit more than a 70 Series but it's street legal on 37s, has triple diff locks, a 100:1 crawl ratio via a twin stick transfer, heaps more clearance and a standard car licence GVM that's 1195Kg above the Cruisers. That's a lot of extra performance for a similar price tag.

    • @Lumberjack3446
      @Lumberjack3446 4 роки тому

      Considering how many features the Iveco has as standard, by the time you buy a Cruiser or a Patrol (or to a lesser extent any other of the smaller vehicles) and set it up as equivalently as possible you probably aren't far off paying for the Iveco.

      @@Lumberjack3446 Spot on mate. In many cases you will need to spend more to make a Patrol or Cruiser just as capable including the sufficient GVM. The Patrols and Cruisers are awesome, it's all about what suits people's needs but there is no doubting the Ivecos are seriously capable machines and so much fun to drive.

      Thanks, does the small motor an issue or do the multitude of gears help it get along.

    • @4WDTV
      @4WDTV  4 роки тому

      @@Mambey the rig has been super reliable and whilst we would love it with a big V8, the 3.0L turbo diesel drives quite well and the 6 speed manual box gets the torque to the wheels nicely. It's no rocket but it gets along just fine. Off road and in low low range, it's unstoppable.

    Whats the road noise like with the tyres, and will it sit at 100/110 kph all day driving up north

    • @4WDTV
      @4WDTV  4 роки тому

      Overall it's the most comfortable 4x4 I have ever driven and an easy drive from Melbourne all the way up north. Tyre noise isn't excessive and it curse along at 100 - 110 very nicely.

    Hi Guys, Can you tell me which ARB Branch has done your bullbar ..... I have spoken with ARB in Brisbane and said that they don't make a bar for an Iveco Daily? ... Thanks in advanced

      spend 350 on a plasma,or tungsten wood saw,9 1/4",buy 2 sheets of 8mm or 10mm,alloy,350 on a tig welder.build your own.alloy is stronger than steel..with 1 sht of alloy 1 can make 2 bars for an f250..or,spend 3.5k at arb..

    Give me the Iveco any day over the Cruiser. Why you didn’t remove the spare I’ll never know…
    Also, you do know it’s ILLEGAL, as in $ and points, to drive around with your fog lights on - Don’t care what YOU want to call them 🤣, they’re fog lights.
    Love the track, not far from Albury where I am. I’ve been up through there, not that track! but My Touareg would (might) get 5m. It’s such a capable vehicle, I have a set of Porsche rims with aggressive AT’s for tripping around. Being able to lift the car quite a lot with the air suspension really helps. Of course I want an Iveco now. Same money…lol, not sure about the day to day tarmac comfort and noise.
    Good show. 🛻👍

      Hey mate, if you are talking about the Iveco, it does not have any fog lights and is driving around with no risk of fines or points, so not sure what you mean sorry. Was it one of the other vehicles?

      Bullbar websites for your Iveco:
      Tuff Australia says they’re fog lights. ✅
      ECB - fog lights. ✅
      Whitlocks - fog lights. ✅
      Irvins - fog lights. ✅
      Ultimate - yep, fog lights. ✅
      I’m not saying you’re mistaken, you’re just wrong is all. 😂🤣😅 Not debatable, it’s a fact. Now you know. 👍
      Hey, I don’t think I mentioned what an awesome video it was. (Too busy being a smart arse - a smart arse who’s right though) The cruiser did better than I thought - loved it when it jumped 90° right about 60cm. lol It looked like a much softer ride, was it? Still Watched all the others too. Awesome trip! Especially since there was no fog. 😉

      @@SpatialGuy77 LOL...all good mate, we know what they are and not surprised that bull bar sites call them generic lights, which they are not. The factory headlights in this model are NOT ADR approved and the looms are removed before they are sold in Australia. The lights in the bumper are then the approved headlights for this model. Not debatable, fact! 😁 Hence, although stupid as it is, as they are nigh on useless, the lights in the lower bar are the only legal low beam headlight the model has and they are ADR approved as such, making them a fully legal light to run (and yes, they are connected to the correct light switch as the low beam headlight😉.

I like to be thorough… I hope I’ll get a chance to flash my doubles behind you so I can see that truck if I spot you up and down the Hume. You’re not too hard to spot, only 3 story high tiger with fog lights on the Hume. 😉 See you 🔜 🐅🛻

      @@SpatialGuy77 haha awesome, we'd love that. Always enjoy meeting a fan and Simon (the owner and host who drives that beast) is very well known to Police as he teaches them self defence and has worked with International police and security forces. Plus that would be insane viral content being ticketed for an ADR compliant, factory fitted and fully approved headlight! But yes, pull him over for a chat, the Police typically do that most times he he does a long trip as they love checking out the big bus and saying hello.
