It is very different knowing your boundaries like bedrock and opening the door to deep interaction with other people and feeling that you need them to stay alive. Or that you need their acceptance to be whole. You don't and it can be a lonely and scary thing to realize that we do all come into this world alone and go out alone. But it's empowering to to know that although we need interaction with others we don't need to depend on others.
