Warum ich dieses Video veröffentliche ?
1. Um allen NICHT Funkamateuren zu zeigen, daß es auf Kurzwelle möglich ist mit einem Funkgerät
und einem Stück Draht in der Luft weltweit Kontakt mit anderen Funkamateuren aufzunehmen,
wie in diesem Video mit Schottland (GANZ OHNE SERVER, OHNE RELAIS,
OHNE RANGE
EXTENSION).
2. Um zu zeigen daß es außer (599 und Tschüss QSOs) auch noch QSOs gibt in denen der
Name, Standort, Stationsbeschreibung, Wetterbericht und weitere Infos ausgetauscht werden.
Für mich wieder ein herausragendes Erlebnis und ein QRP QSO an das ich mich gerne erinnere.

Why do I publish this video ?
1. To show all NOT radio amateurs that it is possible to contact other radio amateurs on shortwave
with a radio and a piece of wire in the air to make contact worldwide, like in this video with Scotland (WITHOUT SERVER, WITHOUT RELAY, WITHOUT ANY RANGE EXTENSION).
2. To show that besides (599 and Bye QSOs) there are also QSOs in which the name, location,
station description, weather report, etc. are exchanged.
For me again an outstanding experience and a QRP QSO I remember with pleasure.

Thank you for making the effort to make these videos Andy. I'm actively trying to improve my head copy (which is quite, quite weak) and would like to be able achieve conversational Morse code at 20-25 wpm and these are very fun to try to listen to and then look up at the screen when I get lost (frequently) and am able to see your transcription of the QSO and determine where I fell off the rails. All that, and I find hearing well-sent CW QSOs relaxing... :) VFB es 73 (and perhaps we'll hear each other on the air at some point...) de WD4AWD

Hello WD4AWD, do you know the book "The Art and Skill Radio-Telegraphy" ? If not, it´s my special tip. Just search via Google. You can download it, it`s for free. This book explains how you can train your subconscious for CW. The chances are good that we will hear each other one day. The propagation conditions are currently very good. Moin Andy, sehr gut, dass Du auch QRP-Betrieb zeigst. Insgesamt ein ruhiger Kanal. Also ohne viel Videotricks, Effekte etc. Die Geschwindigkeiten sind für mich alle gehörlesbar. Für Einsteiger wäre in Sachen QRS das eine oder andere Filmwerk hilfreich. Fand nix richtig Gutes im Netz. Andy, alles Gute, weiter so.

Moin Mike, QRS habe ich auf meine Liste gesetzt. QRP war für mich bis vor kurzem Neuland. Bin überrascht was da möglich ist. Selbst DX ist machbar, zwar nicht einfach, aber machbar. Umso schöner ist das Gefühl wenn man trotz der widrigen Bedingungen ein schönes QSO zustande gebracht hat. Vielen Dank und viele 73, Andy de DL6FA
