Isn’t that N line supposed to be L2 a hot line since it has a two pole 220V breaker?

It's doesn't matter. you can also use single poles and neutral separate
However, you need phase and neutral

My brother in law told me that his friend's fan coil unit (Polar Air Highwall SWC-EC) heater and cooler was not working. Somone replaced ECOBEE thermostat Enhanced. They are not HVAC tech or Electrician. This Ecobee Thermostat Enhanced would not work with Fan coil unit because it had 5 wire only. I just replace new Ecobee Thermostat Premium. It had 7 wire (RC,C,Y1,W1,G0,G1and G2) but Heater and cooler is still not working. I tested it (RC & W1) - Heater won't be running. I checked Heater's fuse- fuse was okay. Maybe Valve is bad ? I am electrician but I was HAVC (one year experince). I dropped out. Do you know why heater is not working?? Just suggest me ?
