1) I’m ready for Francia to start selling her food creations! And 2) I appreciate these kinda vids, Adrienne! I’m 22 and don’t have a clue about financial literacy. I grew up poor and experienced homelessness. I never want to go back to that. I graduate college soon and trust that God will help me create a stable, fulfilling life for myself. I just have no idea where to start when it comes to finances.

Contact your bank. If you don't have a bank account, get one. Like a real brick and mortar bank that has a building in the real world. Not an online only bank. Banks are really good at providing financial advice and you get to build relationship with the place that protects your money, so it's a win win.
1. Live below your means
2. Take out little or no debt.
3. Have a budget breakdown
4. Avoid trying to buy flashy items to prove a status point.

This was an amazing episode! I got divorced at 28 with two small children and had never lived on my own as an adult. My ex had handled all of our finances and I was basically clueless. My parents didn’t know to teach me what they didn’t know, so I had to learn it all from scratch. And I’m STILL learning! This was a great episode.

I appreciate this episode so much! I’m a Latina and I’m the oldest from my siblings. I’ve had to learn a lot on my own and am still learning. I feel like I got got advice from my older sisters that I’ve never had but always wished it. Muchas gracias chicas!

I really liked this discussion! I have always very intimidated by financial topics! But lately I’ve been interested in taking my own finances in my control and want to learn more about it! I became a financial advisor last year and it's so crazy how I started trying to have family members and friends sit down and talk about it so I could help them for there future and damn all I saw was sorry can't meet or we are good thanks! Mind you it was free service so I could learn more 🤦♀️
