Safranbolu, Turkey | My Trip to Turkey- Part 3

Our next city to visit at Turkey after Alacati and Cappadocia is Safranbolu.
When we were planning our trip, we almost thought we will not be able to include Safranbolu in our itinerary. But very badly we wanted to visit because of its beautiful old Ottoman Houses, also this is the place where we can experience the traditional life and culture of Turkey. Finally when we were through planning our itinerary, we managed to include this place. Glad we did!
Day 6 -
Today is all day bus travel. Morning we checked-out Arch Palace, they arranged a taxi to Goreme bus station for us.
We took Kamil Koc bus to Safranbolu around 10 am. We had booked this in advance at FLIXBUS.COM. Bus journey is actually 2 step journey, first we reach Ankara Bus Station and then we had to change to another bus there.
Though Bus journey was long it was nice, comfortable seating and roads are good, majority journey is on highway. We had enough time at Ankara Bus Station for lunch and finding the gate to catch another bus. Ankara Bus Station itself had a restaurant and a grocery store. There was a paid toilet service that we could use.
We reached Safranbolu bus station in the evening around 7 pm. There were taxis at bus station, our stay Leyla Hanim wasn't very far. We reached by taxi, checked-in at Leyla Hanim, and time for dinner now. We had our dinner at restaurant Shezade which is at walkable distance from our stay.

Day 7 -
Today all day exploring the streets of Safranbolu and open markets there by walk. We mainly explored the inner city with the old Ottoman houses. Looking at these beautiful, unique Ottoman Houses is an experience itself, takes you into different world.
The Carsi, market area is full of handicraft stalls, clothes, candies, ice creams and much more. And of course, many dining options too.
We had lunch at Mahra and dinner at Eylul Tadinda.
This is another place like Alacati, not a touristy place for people from foreign land. Language was bit of a problem here in market as well as restaurants. Not many spoke English, but we were able to manage with translators in the phone. Most people were very nice and welcoming, patiently tried to communicate with us even when we had to use translators.
Day 8 -
Today morning we visited Kent Museum which is right next to our stay Leyla Hanim. It is on a hill, there is a beautiful view of the town. Then we visited Amasra on the black sea coast. On the way back we also stopped by to see Tokatli Canyon.
Today's Lunch was ice cream, potatoes and corn on the beach. We ended the Safranbolu visit with dinner at Eylul Tadinda.
