Hello, Im a new viewer to the channel. I was suggested this video because I watched the live performance of this song. I've seen various 'react' videos and to be honest, throughout the first playing of the song I was thinking, 'his face is about 5% of the screen, he isnt saying anything, this is just getting views for playing someone else's song!' But then when the first playing of the song ended, you launched straight into music theory and mozart and singing technique, and half an hour later I feel like I've had a lesson! (I mean this in a good way.) I'll check out some of your other videos.
She speaks with a northern English (Sheffield) accent, which is something of a revelation because Northern accents have tended to be marginalised until recently. Nowadays we are celebrating various regional accents in music and TV and film a lot more than we used to do. Its still something of a brave choice for her to speak in her natural accent like this, though. It makes the already bold feminist message even stronger and more honest, somehow. Storytelling, as you say. I felt that you understood some of the messages and really embraced it and I thank you for that as an American dude!
