as always thanks for the videos! quick suggestion the wheel makes a lot of noise snd the falling water will cause erosion so piling gravel where it falls will help with the noise and erosion.... question for any hydorolic engineers dose the reservoir above the wheel change the head of the system or is that still its source the upstream river?
I was wondering - now that you have a waterwheel that supplies rotational movement with a fair amount of torque - if you were considering developing a woodworking lath for making dishes to supplement your pottery making ability.

Your Ingenuity is Incredible! Wow Your Shelter, Your Garden, Your Pond, Your fishing breeding, Your Skills are incredible, I Love Your Paradise, This is how we are meant to live, Your Video's are amazing, I Love Your bushcraft skills ❤, So relaxing, And Peaceful!
This water wheel could easily be generating power from a small recycled motor to create light for the compound. . . Maybe some fairy lights scattered around the pond or perhaps a small spot light or two at the border of the yard. All powered for free from your little man made waterfall. The sky really is the limit with what you have secured here for yourself. I am definitely one of many many people that are envious of your success and we live vicariously through you. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into your videos as well as for the real good quality of that what you are sharing. We trully appreciate you and what you are doing . Thank you TGC Blessings:)
You should make an attachment for the end of your waterwheel axle that is a big tree base hollowed out to make a concrete mixer (shaped like a big bowl). (Be sure to leave some fins of wood on the inside for better mixing.) It will make mixing large amounts of concrete/cement go so much faster.
saya sangat suka video nya. mungkin saat nya menambah alat dengan membuat listrik secara mandiri, seperti turbin pelton. atau membuay channel baru dengan skill yang sudah di upgrade. hehehehee

I jump at the chance as soon as I see a video has been uploaded because for whatever time I'm going to watch something phenomenal and peaceful. Thank you. Is there a video making the ceramic clay?
it would be cool to see you make glazes for your ceramics and see how intricate of designs you can put on them. 1000 years from now people are gonna dig up your homestead and think they found some super genius ancient society
suggestion: make a roof with bamboo shingles, split bamboo in half to make the bottom layer, then cover the gaps with other smaller split bambo, less rotting than leaves, no leaks
everyone is capable some more than others yes but its just a matter of doing it and learning why one way is better than another for the next time you have to do it . anyony can build somthing but like everyone it isnt good the first time we do it we get better we learn we use what we know to solve what we dont know...he dose great work and the videos are better than a lot of other content offered
Today's equipment takes very little power. A backpack with several backup batteries or power sticks should be sufficient. Or a small folding/roll-up solar panel set up behind the house (where he never takes the camera) to charge batteries while he uses a backup battery. Uploading ? He hikes out to the nearest road and motorbikes into the nearest village with a connection. These days, even rural Vietnam has some connectivity. Or, he has a mobile Hotspot device that works through nearby cell towers.
Against the cracks of large pots, you try to use a sand from old broken ceramics. When the crack starts to appear, it cannot pass through the grains of this sand and have to go around it. So, the crack cant go straight and therefore its more diffucult to expand.
This guy is making bank off of these videos. It's nice to see something original and maybe just maybe the younger generation will see this and get motivated to do something outdoors that doesn't involve smart phones or Xbox.
I am not sure what materials you have available in your area for creating a pottery glaze. A good glaze would improve the structural integrity of your pottery.
You don't need to burn the wood shavings and offcuts... The jungle can use the nutrients in the soil. Otherwise, I love everything you've done! Keep it up
"bloody fantastic" skills on display - I would say EXPERT level, from scratch to presenting many useful items for remote living in comfort... You seem to have an adequate supply of water - next a small hydro-generator to make power for LED lighting and battery charging... Well done! Peace Love and light
On the highly and unlikely chance that the video producers actually read comments, I have one: with all of the dead cornstalks, banana leaves and other detritus he has why not establish a compost pile. Excellent fertilizer.
you need to make a transfer gear so you can use your water wheel to power your pottery wheel. Or perhaps a foot treadle, but you already have the water wheel so it seems you should make greater use of it.
i always enjoy your adventures! how about anchoring a small wood with a target in the middle of your pond and then shoot stones at it with a stone age sling shot. would be fun! i would love those videos. next draining season you could easily recycle your ammo. maybe hunting later. just an idea. take care!

I like how some ceramic platters are a banana leaf shape. Are there any caves in the mountains by your farm? It might be fun (but dangerous) to explore them.
This is a video where I put old videos together into one long video, I usually call it "Full video". Hope you guys enjoy these long videos.
