Hi, it’s me I felt chills before you said you got chills. I do have a scar on my face and I felt as it stripped me from my beauty. My story is similar to Oshun. I’ve prayed and gave her offerings she brought me my twin flame. Before officially meeting with my twin flame I had a dream of me and him flying into the sun and him burning me with the suns energy to strip me of any energies that were no longer needed. Oshun is currently healing me from the burn and confusion of the twin flame lesson. This is the first time I’ve truly cried in years. Thank you goddess for this video.
Also right before meeting my twin flame, I got a chemical burn right in the heart chakra area. It is fading now but still remains and reminds me of the love that burned me.

I am a daughter of Osun and my eyes were burned by the Sun when I was 19... it was terrifying because when I looked in the mirror I could no longer see myself, I was diagnosed legally blind😭 I have since recovered 75% of my sight by the grace of Olodumare 🙏🏾 this video was good! I’m sure many of her daughters and sons can relate... 🍯 🐝

Years ago before i met the love of my life, i was WILD. I hate to admit this, but yes many men and you could see how beautiful i thought i was by the amount of selfies i took and was always center of attention. I visited a santera and she told me i am like candy for men. They flock to me. Fast forward to just before meeting my love, my hair started thinning and i got acne and skin sensitivities so bad i went into a depression. I do not look like myself anymore. But i have done deep soul searching and now read cards, practice many different cultural spiritualities, heal, help animals and the earth. The love i have for life and nature has gotten so incredibly deep. I almost didn’t want to write this because so many people did and while my scars aren’t from being burned (maybe some from being a professional chef for 10+yrs) mine are just like the lesson you told. I said it from the time my skin issues started that i am being slowed down. I am humbled learning to love myself inside this time. Thank you for this beautiful blessed video.

Child of Oshun & Chango. My short story is that I was told to leave a man and for 10 years I didn’t. Offer my love and body to him. Years later I got breast cancer and had to have breast removed. Hair fell out, skin burnt, nails dark. I got rid of that man when he wouldn’t help me. I learned to love myself through it all. I got better and despite breast removal I started attracted better men, skin better, confidence on 1000. The old guy even wanted to come back because I was beautiful than I was before. Eboni Murphy it depends what country were talking about. The ppl of Yoruba spread with the diaspora therefore theres practitioners all over the American continents but most prominent in Brazil, and in the Caribbean islands. So Oshun, Ochún, Oxum are all valid.

I know a lot of people are posting their experiences with their scars. But the scar that I have is very personal that has taught me a lesson to love myself and my skin complexion. When I was younger, I used to bleach my skin from the ages of 16 years old to 22 years old.
I am a dark skinned woman and I would bleach my skin so badly to where I have a permanent scar on my right cheek from excessively bleaching (which was basically a chemical burn). I stopped bleaching years ago but no matter what I put on it to lighten it naturally, from Vitamin C serums to Retinol. I can still see the faint dark patch. I learned my lesson. I have been free from bleaching for over 6 years and I feel beautiful!! 🌻🌼💛

Your Ancestors have nothing to do with Oshun, unless one of them was Crowned to Oshun. Oshun should not be on your Ancestral Altar- she is not an Ancestor. A bee flew into your house because it did. No other reason, no "Sign from Oshun"

Recently I have been drawn to learn more about Yoruba. It is showing up in so many random ways and while searching Oshun I found your page. There is a part in this video where you mention "physical scars to be taught a lesson" without saying to much, I felt that message. Wow, I'm a little overwhelmed right now. I started my spiritual journey in June by meditating, connecting more with my guides etc. A few weeks ago, during a meditation my guides told me "We're people of the water". The book is way better than the movie and they do rootwork but mostly just spiritual aspects to Christianity. However read the book not the movie. And no the bees have nothing to do with Ochun. It's a reference to the girls mother and how life is sweet, bueatiful but can sting.

This one time I was on my way to work and all the sudden she started talking to me, telling me that I have come from such a long way and that I had so much more coming for me and that I still had a long way to go. I was crying and somehow was driving but it was like someone else was taking over. I was in a weird mid trans, I do not know how to describe it. Ever since I was 8 years old I knew she was my guardian Angel. I practice Santeria,I am cuban. It was not until 3 years ago when I received my Kofa of Orula that I found out It was official. I have gotten messages from her in my dreams. She throws messages at me little by little throughout my life and warns me of things I should watch out for . The story of Oshun sounds like my own life story, especially after meeting someone who I feel is a twin flame. I expressed my feelings but he didn't feel the same way. That person/situation gives me Shango vibes. I'm a water sign (Scorpio) and I grew up with depression since age 12 (I'm 25 now). I also have self harm scars that remind me of the darkness I came from and to not get that low ever again.

I swear to God. Before I clicked this video. I sat down to write a chapter in my book on scarring. I got a scar on my face at 5 years old. Weird accident. It’s a crescent moon. And at 15 I was diagnosed with a skin disorder because I started randomly becoming allergic to the sun. I would burn because my skin was so sensitive and couldn’t enjoy sunlight for a few years. I still sunburn if I’m not careful with certain skin products or in the sun too long. But I am finally writing my book. This is crazy. There are no accidents. Thank you for doing this video. My spiritual awakening started a year ago and I finally embrace that I am a daughter of Oshun now. The universe had to show me in many different ways because I come from a religious background. I am new to all of this being raised in a Baptist household. This is so interesting to me. I have always been curious about who Africans actually worshipped before white people converted our ancestors. I question a lot of things and was told not to question God by my family. Now I wonder if this is path. How do you find out who's daughter you might be? I have vivid dreams rarely, but, when I do, they are usually about water and some of the creatures that live in them. I pray to the Creator, whoever that might be, and ask for guidance. I hear someone call my name in my sleep. They always sound like they are in a tunnel or vortex and I can't tell whether it's a female or male, but, it always wakes me up. I constantly see angel numbers, too. All of this started happening in the last few years. I know someone is trying to communicate with me but I wish I knew who.
Work with your ancestors first and they will show you the way. Put up a candle for them in front of their photos, give them their favorite candy, drinks, water, flowers. show them love. They will lead you to further your studies and repair your heart and mind. Also this channel is great and I would recommend watching her videos because she is a natural teacher and has lots of great info

I have questions about Christianity, especially knowing how it was forced upon our ancestors and every other nation that Europeans have violently conquered through "Christian Crusades". Nothing Christ like about threatening to kill innocent people if they don't convert. And I know that Europeans have used religion to control people. So, to that end, I wonder if they have tampered with the Bible. I do believe in the Trinity, however, I feel Christianity has been tainted. There is nothing wrong with wanting to know what your people were like and who they believed in.
@@mobbboss3806 I agree that Jesus is also a great teacher, however it should be a personal journey to work with him. He asks us to follow his example (help the down trodden, non-judgment/ not throwing the first stone, love). Secondly he is not the only teacher out there. Even Jesus learned from another durring the 40 days in the dessert and possibly when he was a child at the temple (re: the missing years). We follow his example to push ourselves to be our own greatest self ethical compass and to learn with those we perceive as others/bad/evil. Jesus teaches us to reach out a hand to others even if we are scared or perceive them as evil. So I invite you to learn from other teachers and truly ask yourself why you say Jesus is the only "way"

You were telling me not to use tarot or dreams to find out who my Orisha is. I know way more about tarot than I do this and I would never use tarot or anything else to find out who my Orisha is. This seems way too sacred for that. I’ve been burned before and a few scars that have taught me lessons.
I was listening to Beyoncé "Black Parade" today and got chills as she sang"ancestors put me on game" and then she said "Oshun energy" . This made me want to deep dive into what this meant. I was drawn to your video to learn about this...I think its funny how things work out. I have several scars mainly from being a kid (under my nose, knees and elbows lol)

And they are absolutely gorgeous when they do fly...Also you didn't reference some of the Important things about Oshun like the twins..she gave birth to the first twins and she has always been guardian over the fresh waters. I understand there's so many different stories tho...I've heard so many. 😊

they tend to run and take several small leaps before a big final hop. They can't stay airborne for very long, but their huge wingspan allows them to flutter quite far. i think its cool how they still can fly and show off their beauty but they are designed so they cannot travel like that for long distances. like be cute and stuff but stay grounded, literally

I have a picture of Oshun in my house. I have a slight scar on my neck from my a car accident when I was burned by the seat belt and the air bag. I'm the youngest daughter, was wild & that car accident helped change my life. I had to disconnect from several toxic people in my life at that time. It was over 10 years ago and I still have glass from the windshield that comes out to this day. I turned away from everyone when I needed to heal & I often run away from others when I need to heal, not in a fearful way but as a way to reconnect with myself & the ancestors. I’m definitely a child of Oshun. I’ve always been attracted to the sun (I’m a Leo stellium as well as a Scorpio stellium) yellow is my FAVORITE color 💛. Her story related to me so much I ended up getting chills. I’ll be working with my mom pretty soon. & I’m also pregnant by a man who don’t want my baby nor me. He told me he didn’t give me consent to keep it but he was loving the passion I was giving to him. This was a spiritual connection. I shaved my hair and it’s not like how it used to be. I watched this video 3 yrs after it was posted but 3 yrs ago when I started my spiritual journey, my husband prayed to Oshun to reveal herself to me bc I was skeptical of his new pursuit of Ifa, and I got burned across both my eye lids (top n bottom) the morning after his prayer, while lighting an incense. i've been practicing ever since.
