The brief clip of Care from Leicester is just so emotionally beautiful. No other band can conjure such magical music. Well done Marillion- best band ever !!!
I can easily say that life has been a much better journey with Marillion's music to accompany me along the way this far. Thanks, and please don't stop !
Marillion Monthly is another great innovation of the band to connect with the fans, after crowdfunding and the Weekends. I read the other fans comments, and it is amazing to see that some of us have a similar relationship with the band. I was 17 when I was introduced to the band in 1987. I am now 53 and still listen to many albums religiously. Brave for instance, which came out 2 weeks before my father died at age 45. Everytime I listen to it, I am flooded with emotions that reminds me of this tragic episode in my life. The Great Escape is a song that makes me cry everytime I hear it. So does the solo on Easter. Thanks for being in my life for the last 35 years! (Steve, from Quebec, Canada)
Maureen Thackway. Hello I've just started listening to Marriilion and I am 69 . Just love all the music and cheers me up because I suffer with depression and makes me feel so much better. Love listening to monthly interviews.
This is just one of the reasons I love Marillion. You know the band has its feet on the ground when the guitarist's favourite moment is not something like a crowning achievement on their long career, but an assumed mistake turned into something shared, a rough diamond that the band played their hearts into and ended with a great performance!! Marillion are HUGE!!!
Saw you guys at Sheffield last year with the AHBID tour and I have never seen so many grown men crying when you played Care...it really touched some thing inside
My first ever show was the Brave set in Pontins 2002 at the first ever Marillion Convention, later to be named "Weekends". I was totally in tears by the end of The Great Escape. That whole album played live took all of us on an emotional journey. They totally nailed it! Not many bands ever have that effect on me on studio albums, but especially live.
MS has left this long-time(37yrs) Marillion fan homeless, the past 8 mos, and if not for these five, special characters; and the beauty/brilliance of their music that has kept my mind occupied all these months, years for that matter, I'm sure I would be hopelessly lost. My sincere gratitude!!! What an amazing community!
February's episode was just as amazing and entertaining as the first one. I loved seeing Care live from Leicester as it reminded me of my 60th Birthday and one of my favourite Marillion gigs ever after over 40 years. I'm really looking forward to the Rothery and Hackett collaboration and to hear the band will soon be heading into the studio to start working on new material was the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work, I can't wait for the next edition in March.
Lucy's face at 32:32 conveys so much. Years of dealing with rockstars, frustration, stubborn people, taciturn guitarists, clumsy singers, band politics, general shenanigans, all adding up to a big fat "see, this is what I deal with every day!" We appreciate your work Lucy... It can't be easy!
It's so funny. Thanks so much. It is such a pleasure to follow these monthly sessions. I count on You to do this hopefully for the next years. You all are the BEST. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
I’ve ‘found’ Marillion again after many years , and feel like I’ve arrived in a community of genuinely nice people who happen to be brilliant at what they do. Absolutely love the last album and would be more than thrilled to win tickets for a weekend 🤞
Another great monthly……….absolutely loving these Lucy. From Market Square Heroes, when I was 14, to the present day, I have been listening to your music in awe. Long may it continue. Happy 40th Anniversary to Script 🎉🎉
Another innovative idea from the group that is Marillion.... The monthly interviews. Not only have musical bounderies been broken but also social ones with many of our heroes showing their human side that many bands don't show. To have the privilege of watching gifted, talented and adored individuals, is just such an honour to belold in this format. Since 1983 I have followed you guys, but never been able to see you on stage..... One day before I leave this earth, I will.
I have been a subscriber for ages and it is always such a thrilling surprise when the message about new content on the channel pops up. Keep on subscribung lovely people, it is really worth the little click and you'll be happy forever.
Great show, can't wait to the next one! Since 1984 Marillion is part of my life and i will never, never miss them!!! Go on and don't stop making proud beeing a Marillion-Fan!!!
To take the time to have a bit of a laugh and explain what’s going on in and around the band is simply brilliant..thank you so very much it means a lot to us that follow Marillion with a passion..cheers all.
Great tv from the best band in the world with the best fans in the world! We visit a lot of concerts, but Marillion concerts are the very best. Lovely people around you who are talking and become friends. Can't wait for the next Marillion concerts!
So good to get to listen to the band on a personal level, now that these monthly shows have started. I've been following the band since 1982 and have even managed to take my daughter, who was very impressed, to see a show in Dallas on the FEAR tour when we lived in Texas.
Love the music, love the lyrics and now I love the Marillion Monthly interviews immensely. What a fabulous bunch of people you all are. Thank you so much for sharing and keeping in touch with us!
Another great episode! I was lucky enough to be at both of the shows featured in the live clips and agree they were among the most memorable of all I’ve attended.
Lucy, you're as gorgeous and lovely as always! I absolutely LOVE the chemistry you have with all of the band and none of it ever feels forced or grinding. I love these first two episodes and hope that you'll continue making them. There's no need to put me in the drawing for tickets as i already have them for Montreal and everyday I get a little more excited the closer the date approaches
Marillion have been a non-negotiable in my life for over 30 years ❤️ Can’t live without them and the friends I’ve made because of them, are friendships for life -thank you so much guys ❤️

So looking forward to Leicester again.......keep up the good work !!
Steve Rothery is such a nice person!! I have had the pleasure to speak to him several times! His wife Jo is also very kind! I have met her several times (as well). Really looking forward to PZ!!! 🤩
I saw you live in Groningen this year, it was a amazing show. Marillion is a great live band, because most of their songs are even better when they perform it live.
Marillion have been central to my life from the first time I listened to Fantastic Place in 2021. Beautiful. Stunning. Tear-inducing. No other band makes me feel the way this one does. Love you guys (and Lucy) ❤️

The album with Hackett is going to great! I just can not imagine it being any other way. Two of my favourites coming together.😍
Hopefully Hackett will also sing some things 😀
I love to hear the album "Seasons End" when I am on a long flight! It is so calming and relaxing.
I can easily say that life has been a much better journey with Marillion's music to accompany me along the way this far. Thanks, and please don't stop !

Very excited for the Rothery/Hackett album. 2 people who inspired me as a teenager to pick up the guitar.
Thanks for all the great music thru the ups and downs of life! With Marillion’s music the up’s are ever lasting and down’s seem to fade away quickly!
Thanks for another brilliant memory - crowd surfing in Montreal in 2009. Feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at the same time.
What the band does for their fans is incredible! Looking forward to the next episode. Thank you very much!

I really like all this “back of house” content on the channel - it shows why you are all still making all this music.

Fell in love with Marillion when watching TV at the age of 8 in 1985 when Kayleigh was played. The magic of Rothers' solo did the trick for me.
