In the interview she said people nowadays are encouraged to have more realistic ambitions/dreams and she gave the example of kids now wanting to only have some professions when they grow up, either entertainment or something stable, as opposed to when she was young and she had a new big dream every other day. So basically the song encourages people to be "greedy" and want to do big things even if the current society suggests otherwise Also isn't she just carjacking DPR by threatening him with the lollipop? 😁
To me, the lollipop was so obviously just supposed to be a joke. Like she's putting a knife to his throat, but it's just a lollipop. Which is totally hilarious. I love that idea. And I've watched about 10 other reactions so far today hoping someone else would notice, but the fireworks stand looks almost exactly like the one from Joe Dirt. I think this whole music video is full of different movie references. And it's just amazing.
The theater is the historic Palace Theatre in downtown LA! Gorgeous setting and fitting for the overall look of the MV! And I love the California-meets-magical world vibes all around, including the fancy piñata ^^… also, finally can see Sean’s hair color in the lighting!
How I realised I love this album: Another reactor said they prefer Holssi to Shopper and I got a little defensive. Sean said he prefers Shopper over Holssi and I also got a little defensive lmao. They're not even my favorites in the album lmao they're just that good overall.
It's amazing how American things really make you feel "global" 😅 As an Italian person, sometimes I find more similarities with Korea then with USA, but in television or in a video American things look more familiar 🤔 Thank you as always❤ See you in the album reaction 👋🏻
