The software appears to be the same in both, the only difference that I've seen is the color of the device. The "ProS" is a Red Tablet with black trim/bezel around the screen, and the original "Pro" is a Black tablet with the red trim. They are both the same with different color scheme.
When you booted the scan tool up it said PRO elite NOT the PROS elite as the box says
I love launch ..it works great and can do so much for almost all cars..if you buy it for you re car only and you keep the same car you do not need to update the scantool..if you work on other cars it is for me normal that you pay something

That's Launch x431 PRO, not PROS. Only the box is PROS ....

Yeah I know all car channels advertising different ones each month ,,, it’s just downloadable data on a device that anyone can do , and each says there’s does more cars and better features , reeks of money grabbing is you ask me ..
@@AlfiepopsI’m actually surprised that being android based that someone hasn’t just hacked the software and upload the update files for the modified side loaded app or even completely cracked android os. Can’t be too hard to crack one of these devices bootloader. 🙏😂
