As a UK bus operator, I went for an overtake once using an oncoming lane overtaking a slower moving car doing 20mph slower than me. I’d say that overtake is once in a lifetime because although it’s sometimes legal, its not always safe - otherwise I don’t risk it. If the lines are broken, no signs saying otherwise, you don’t exceed the speed limit, there’s no traffic in the oncoming lane and you’ve got a good view of the road ahead, it would be safe and legal to overtake
I am Bangladeshi I hardly ever travel through the highways because it's so dangerous and stressful. But many people do because the other safer options are more expensive. The highways are criminally narrow and the bus drivers are reckless.
These bastards must be arrested and banned from driving for life... putting lives at risk. what is the police administration doing.. complete madness.. this is why India has one of the most dangerous roads,... our road safety is among the worst in the world.. shame on such drivers!!!

We're all the most highly professional and skilled drivers out there and you as possible passengers travelling on a bus may think that we might hit something when going fast through tight gaps when actually we know our width, length and height of our vehicle through experience. Plus I'm autistic which says alot. Watching this I think the Indidans and Bangladesh have proper level of skill driving such coach better than us. Just as long as they concentrate and get their timings correct then all is good.
I am extremely shocked by the state of road traffic in India. Do they use money to buy a car driver's license instead of taking a test to get it? In our country, these dangerous driving behaviors are enough to cause these crazy drivers to lose their driver's license forever and live in jail.😨

And no, alcohol is hard to find over here, these are not drunkards, high on weed possibly, regardless of their state of mind, this is just how they drive over here, if you were in their shoes, it would take you half a decade to become like them, it's a toxic place.

Bro not cool... Real incident happened with me and my parents at night we were on highway with no dividers , from opposite lane 3 trucks were coming and 1 bus also.. the bus overtook 1 truck that was fine then overtook other truck taking huge risk for me and parents then the third truck near our car stopped seeing the mad bus driver... We stopped 400 meters before to prevent collision. But that maniac again overtook the truck near our car and no space was there... The bus collided with the forward of car and rammed us on the side of road which us slopping and uneven, our car rolled over because it was SUV... THE NICE TRUCK DRIVER JUMPED OUT OF TRUCK ALONG WITH MANY PEOPLE BEFORE US AND RESCUED US AND ALSO TRIED TO CHASE THE BUS TO GET THE BUS NUMBER BUT FAILED. WE WERE SAFE BUT WAS A TRUE NIGHTMARE, WE COULD HAVE ENDED THERE IF THE BUS DIDNT EVEN TOOK TURN AFTER 1 SECOND OF COLLIDING
Is this a reality show? Or what? This is not normal safe and above all considerate driving on the roads!! This is total maximum risking of one's life, i.e. the driver's life, and also with the lives of passengers!!! I don't understand the logic here!! Maybe they are racing with the full buses!!!
