Can I grow zucchini, cucumbers, and squash in a container and how big the container should be 10, 15, 20 gallons??? I live in the north east when should I plant my ginger?
15 gallon and clay containers, watch this ua-cam.com/video/rVqry1BhPlE/v-deo.html
You can use single rows of corn to shelter the more fragile vegetables from strong winds or the scorching mid summer sun. In single rows you can plant the seeds much closer, like 4-5" apart. You can also use single/scattered corn plants as support for climbing vegetables like beans or even cucumbers. The corn itself isn't very productive this way, but it's a much cheaper, simpler and environmentally friendly option than using plastic supports or windbreaker fences.
Great tip! Thanks!
Namaste! Your videos are very informative. Namaste!
Glad you like them!
Fantastic, all your videos are just Amazing
Thank you very much!
I look forward to your videos every week Jag. You have inspired me to grow more than I ever thought possible. Thank you.
Thank you for watching :)
Jack, can you please quote both Fahrenheit and Celsius? You have viewers outside of USA too
Does US use Fagrenheit or Celsius?
will do, thanks
@@Nystika USA uses Fahrenheit. Almost everywhere else in the world it is the more sensible and metric Celsius system. USA also uses pounds, ounces, miles and other antiquated system. And 110 V AC. Go figure
Our country use mile too
@@Nystika sorry to hear that
I would like to make seed bombs and drop them in empty, shady lands.
Could you please suggest a seed, that can grow to become a huge tree in indian condition, with minimum care. 🙏🏼

Sir I want to know your biography... I am very eager to know your success story
Jag, kya ap hindi bol sakta hai? US se hai ya India. In your videos, you mentioned growing up in India with your Grandfather. Just curious thanks. Great videos. Also, can you please make a video on how you start seeds when you use transplants. Which growlights?
Yes I do speak punjabi and hindi. Watch this regarding growing seedlings ua-cam.com/video/k89c3IO04V4/v-deo.html and this ua-cam.com/video/XPYMzlBHx-s/v-deo.html
Sigh, wish I could grow chard, spinach, and beets but I get tons of leafminer eggs on them
Spray with neem oil. Get it at the garden center or online.
Quite a pain in the ass to deal with..i face it often..try using white oil,its a mixture of soap and veg oil..and get rid of leafmined leaves as soon as u see it..your plants might not be fully perfect but having 90% of leaves without leafminers is a good accomplishment since youre going the organic way
I'm looking for curry plant, where can I get it? I love the fragrance of the leaves for certain recipes.
What state-wide are you in? Please not in Florida nor in Colorado...
Thanks for the tips. I'll try them...God bless n keepsafe ❤️
Awesome, thanks for the information. Specially how deep, and how to space them.
Glad it was helpful!
I'm surprised that you didn't mention parsnips with the root crops.

Awesome video. I can't plant peas straight into the garden. Something ALWAYS eats the seedlings. Tried neem oil and water mix, no luck

Hi, Jag! Thanks for a the great videos! Can you teach us how to do those beds you have with the soil built up around the bed to contain the water? Does it work in areas like VA, where we can get heavy rains during some.summer months and drought in late summer?

Jag - I’ve a person who has killed more plants than I’ve grown. I just started my vegetable garden and have been watching literally ALL of your videos. I’m a software engineer who has no idea about plants - and now I almost want to spend all of my time gardening after watching you explain everything so well! Well done and keep it up
