- Picking your character can sometimes be one of the most challenging aspects of a fighting game because it will impact your entire experience! As the MultiVersus roster continues to grow, it's important to know where to start in order to find success early on. In this video I give my thoughts on some of the easier characters to pick up that will help you get to where you want to be!

@@quisevioxd8717 same. Except I made a bad choice and thought that taz was still a good character (he was godly during beta)
Marvin the Martin should be a mage to me because his move set is mostly guns and projectiles, and assassins have like swords and stuff
His play style isn't zoning
Assassins are characterized by ladder combos, high damage and being light. Marvin is all three of those, he usually kills of the top of the screen and he doesn’t really run away like a mage

he was always a bruiser/tank with his shields to himself and ally + the shields he can use ... always

he is also human and not human ( that’s what it says when hover over him)
As a rick, i feel nothing but pride that he is considered a hard character
Rick is not a hard character. He's fairly easy to use. He has potential to do crazy setups which is hard but to actually play him and do really well is honestly easy.

I can’t wait! I played a lot of the characters but bugs and Velma were probably my main and I believe they sadly took out Velma’s laser
My main was Jake and hearing him as a recommended character for newbies, I feel nice.
I main bugs and feel he’s very underrated up close I do my best work there 🥊
My 2 mains in the beta were Batman and Tom & Jerry. Picking both of them back up I feel a lot more comfortable with Tom and Jerry but I think that’s because I was playing them more towards the end of the beta. Regardless still love them both
my main was Shaggy and LeBron and Superman was kind of my main to i cant. Wait to play. This game again
I had to pick marvin. When I was a kid he was my first favourite fictional character and I love me some fictional characters. Before south park before Futurama and before nintendo 64 there was just marvin for me. I have played 2 hours and he is fun. I will probably get wrecked pvp but im destroying the cpu characters
Marvin was my favourite Looney Tunes character as well. Fun character to play.
Bugs Bunny is actually insane at close up combat and he has the long range attacks
Can confirm, Joker is not that hard to pick up. I play him much more like an assassin type than mage myself, though, cause he really seems to thrive moreso up close than trying to play keep away.

I only played the low skill beginner characters and never got to the characters I wanted to learn like Arya, and Marvin looks so fun as well so can’t wait to play those two!
I don’t agree that Tom and Jerry is bad at close. I think they are pretty easy or much like a sword fighter from smash.
Im so happy Shaggy was free because is is so far the most fun character for me

most meta character rn is jason, he needs to be patched istg, ive mained him for a bit and hes insane, his combo into a grab and his vanish move, im starting to try to use rick

I agree he is quite strong, definitely deserving of nerfs, though surprised he's considered the best. Maybe I haven't played against enough good Jasons yet, but generally fighting against him in 1v1 feels manageable to me. His attacks are very oppressive but if you respect that then it's alright- plus he's pretty big. the vanish move is really tough though.
though I main Reindog and... it definitely feels like the Jason's I've seen just aren't very good because there is no way Samusdog has the winning matchup there
Jason is a grappler. He tends to get shut down but when he gets going he gets GOING.
@chermal7311 i tried rick and he is a really technical character, and well for jason, its like using hulk
hes not good im maining him and if u fight a harley her moves come out faster
@sablenarwhale3574 yeah itsbecause hes a heavy type, im maining garnet as her moves are pretty goodand easy to understand, i also want to get black adam and superman as they feel really good in the game, however they easily get beaten by the assasin type characters
