- Hi Everyone,
In this video I am going to make a home server using my old broken laptop. This tutorial can also be used to convert old pc or computer to server.
The steps are very easy to use old / broken laptop pc and make a diy project using them.
The aim of my every video is to use old useless things and to make good usable things using old / broken /damaged products like mobiles / tv /pc /computer etc.

Is it required to run this pc 24 hours or not? If I switch off this pc, then how do I run? Is it connect to the monitor?
Yes I'm using it 24x7 for DVR/CCTV and no monitor required.

No monitor is not required. Server will start automatically
No monitor needed. You cant use it when its off if that's not clear
I think we can turn on or off whenever we need it all we need is Wi-Fi switch

Sir actually mera paas bohut sare old android phones might 5.1 or less mane usmas kuch ko cctv camera bhi banaya hai.par ab aap kuch idea de ussa kuch usefull kaam ma laga saku isi video ki tarah ek or vaisi video bana de (note:- maine apki broken phone vali video dekhi thi lakin mera paas ample of android tv and boxes hai.plz suggest an idea)
CCTV wala idea aapka accha laga....jaldi hi video banaunga...over the network save krenge video output.

You can get a ethernet to usb adapter u can use that

We can only access it using local network. However, we can connect it to internet and can access it from anywhere.

but after attaching the external hdd go back to ur ip and add a new storage device by creating a new pool and selecting the disk
