Lookit that awesome bookcase! LOVE Jane Austen and I toggle back-n-forth between "Persuasion" and "Pride & Prejudice." Whichever one I'm reading, I think, "THIS is my favourite!" Until I read the other one. I really like Elizabeth Gaskell (19th century Brit). She's kind of like Austen in that she paints very vivid scenes and you feel like you really know her characters. The BBC series of "Cranford" is really good, too.
Thankyou! 🥰 I felt the same with Northanger Abbey (I kept asking myself, is this my favourite?) Cranford is on my TBR! Your description is really making me want to read it now! ✨
Hey (with rizz), interesting video, specially the plays, the only plays I've read are the super classics like from Cervantes, Shakespeare, etc, currently I'm reading the Ulysses by Joyce and I know there are some "plays" chapters in there so it might be interesting
