Thanks for the update. Definitely need one of this. I have the zoku quick pop maker and have made an Oreo and cream video on my channel but this ice cream maker is so awesome. Great video, presenter and editing. Subscribe!
Thank you for the great video!:-D I liked yours better than the William Sonoma video! I was looking to find out if I could leave the outer cover of the bowl out of the freezer. You answered that question. Showing us the ice cream being placed on the side rim as it freezes is very helpful for the first time user. I really appreciate the help. Now my kids will have more fun and less frustration making their ice cream.
mine sucked ass. after spending more money on ingredients than i would have on icecream itself, i tried to make icecream in the zoku after 15+ hours in freezer. i did notice at first i didnt put outer sleeve on but i quickly put it on the bowl and still all i had was a liquid nothing at all happened. is the outside sleeve crucial or is this just a bs product?
Use it to make slushy? Most likely. All it does is freeze things quickly. It may be not as efficient with something with a high water content though. There's a recipe book that comes with it, maybe it's accessible online and has recipes for slushy.
Helps keep the ice crystals at a minimum I guess. Ice cream needs sugar and fat to break the ice crystals up and keep it from getting too hard. Protein also helps. Salt is used to melt snow so it's probably used as an ice regulator. I made my own ice cream with angel delight mix and used icecream stabiliser and protein powder to make it softer, but I guess salt can also be used. I've just made a DIY bowl by filling a plastic bag with vegetable glycerine and putting it in the freezer, sandwiched between two plastic tubs. Might be a success, but I just didn't want to spend the money on something I could make myself.

you tried it and liked it but you wouldnt eat it on camera? I ain't buying this
just realised she didn't eat it in the end LOOL
I have a couple of these. They're pretty fun and do what they're promising. Whether the ice cream is good depends on the ingredients you use.

Weird product. I cannot see myself buying this. Back to freezing the chunks and processing them.
This “lazy” video sure doesn’t make me want to buy one, the finished product of what I could see looked like cottage cheese!
I have this product it's amazing
Can I have the ingredients portion please
