Hey Icy, I am not sure if this would interest you at all, but I found a way to play the original PC Gears 1 (GFWL) version last night. Seeing you enjoy Gears 1 so much recently made determined to find a way to play without an Xbox last night and figured it out. But the PC version allows people to make custom maps and theres a Gears PC community that has recreated maps from 2 & 3 back into Gears 1. I am excited to get back to playing!

I played the shit out of MW2 in college lol. I’d just try to get the nuke. Don’t remember the classes, but I think I would use the missile, the AC130, the nuke. This was really the only shooter I played outside of gears

The views are decent but the player base is very low I don’t get it but ok
So the reason your teammates won't finish your kills is because of the taboo against stealing kills. Kills are what determine k/d and that is the only stat that matters for determining whether a player is good or not in gears 2. These are old social conventions from when gears 2 was hot and they just sort of stuck with players. You clean up your own kills. The very first leader for a match is determined by rank, random if more than one 100 on a team. Love seeing you question the wacky bugs. If anyone in the game knows how to ghost through the map, GG, nothing you can do but lose.
