I’m from Malaysia and I always love how Syed Naquib Al-Attas’ works for philosophical knowledge and experiences within the nation throughout the books he wrote and used to have public intellectual discourse he has spoken
Animal comes from "animate"... we are life forms that move which makes us animals, the term animal has often been conflated with wild beasts. Just because we are animals does not make us "wild" or "beasts"
Animal: living organism that feeds on organic matter, typically having specialized sense organs and nervous system and able to respond rapidly to stimuli.

We should be grateful of having him in our very own country!
I'll always have time for some reflections of hamza yusuf. ❤
Wow! MashaAllah. “Humans? It could be an Angel..it could be a demon.” Scary, but true.

Beutifully discussed- Masha Allah!
did not expect to have a short revision on Euclidian Geometry here 😅
Fully agree. The Qur'an gives the opposite ' be ye apes and swine..'.as a way of distinguish us from animals.
