Danny's Garage ive had fat strings on a 6 string. Still sounds like shit if the action isnt where it needs to be. Had to put 6 springs in the back of the schecter to keep a decent tension

Node is incredible to listen instrumentally. The mixing process when vocals are involved doesnt sound anywhere near as good.
Discoveries and Singularity are better albums as a whole package. Node is only good instrumentally. Predicting the same for Mesmer.
This isn't to say that Marcus' vocals are bad, just that the mixing is.

Nick Cox from memory Jon had a custom e-II esp telecaster 7 string, the one he's playing here has Bareknuckle black hawks by the look of it and an evertune bridge. Probably baritone 27" or there abouts. Maybe even 28". 👌🏻
It is an ESP E-II Telecaster 7 string with Blackhawks. It's a baritone scale length of 27" with an Evertune bridge. Josh is using a Jackson B7 with his Bareknuckle Impulse set with an Evertune bridge. Note that the Impulse is only available as a humbucker right now. They haven't released the single coil to the public as of yet.
I just purchased a semi-custom Agile guitar as close to the specs as I could get. It has the telecaster shape but will be in surf green (somewhat similar to the color of one of Josh's guitars). I purchased a semi-custom 8 string a few years ago and I love it. Reviews say Agile guitars are a hit or miss but I couldn't be any more pleased with mine!

Tele is just the shape of the guitar.. If you use active humbucker pickups like that, of course you can play djent on it! Unless if you are using single coil pickups, things will be different. I can guarantee that it will sound terible
