- So, it's been awhile, but here it is. Originally I only uploaded those clips that involved musical numbers, but I'm finally uploading this scene for two reasons: A) there have been so many requests over the years for me to include this, and B) I was inspired to finally include this in honor of the arrival of the Spielberg version that has just recently come out. If you love this musical in any way, shape or form, you absolutely must go see it. It is absolutely fantastic! Stunning! There are many differences of course from the original stage production, which the Stratford Playhouse tried very hard to adhere to, but the changes made for the movie version are all, in my opinion, absolutely perfect and make perfect sense. I can't recommend it enough. So ENJOY!

this is so good, i got so excited when this popped up in my recommended
Oh my goodness I just cried my eyes out, brilliant
just goes to prove my point...hollywood spends millions to make some spielberg version of wss and yet, this simple version here is BETTER than the other because talent is more important than all the money and special effects you can ever come up with...this version is the best with all it's slight flaws than any i've seen

Is there any way to see the full production of this show
I'm currently rehearsing for the role of Riff and would love to see this whole production from a studying standpoint because holy hell the performances here are amazing and the camera quality is amazing
Most all of the various music numbers from this performance are on UA-cam, but I've been reluctant to post it as a complete performance because it is copyrighted material and technically, it could be argued, shouldn't be here at all. It was originally posted for the parents and the kids to be able to see their performances online.
Also, thanks for acknowledging the production value of the video - I'm the one who directed, shot and edited the video.
