I'm playing Marvalyn currently and have been having a hard time interpreting the character. I really like what this actress did with it, it's very helpful
I played Marvalyn in our production, and this was probably one of the most fun scenes i've ever been in. This play is fantastic!
She played it very differently to all the other productions of this I’ve seen. I love the way she did it. Also the extra reactions like the way she looked at her boyfriends shirt and stuff like that. Well done :)
I am not a fan of this play and I'm doing it at my school, but damn do I love the acting in this production anyways and it's giving me some hope. Serious amount of talent!
Musical...
Roxy Laldone if you think Almost, Maine is a musical you don’t belong in theater period
Riley Beth Yo sorry I was watching some musicals before I posted that and mixed them up, sorry. Actually not new in theatre but sometimes say the wrong thing. Either way I’m in the PLAY, doing a acting competition this week, and starting off in my schools thespian troupe. This is my 8th year in acting so maybe chill out bud?
Roxy Laldone damn bitch it was a joke 💀💀
Riley Beth bahahaha oml
I'm playing Marvalyn in December, so it's really nice to see one actor's take on the character
I played Steve last winter and I am reprising the role this year. Watching this to try to remember things. It's very nostalgic.
I’m playing Steve and I watched this to get some tips and this was really good!
You guys did so well! This audience is sadly very dry but I think you portrayed these characters very well
Thank you, steve is an odd character to read for, you did good man
Gonna play Steve this coming April! Super excited!!!
Any advice?
I did this play in high school, I played East and Phil, was always so confused by this scene because it was badly acted and horribly misunderstood by its actors. Only now seeing this well acted production do I finally understand what the hell is happening, great job to these actors, they had some real moments.
I screamed when she hit him 😂😂😂✌🏾️😭
I’m playing Marvalyn in my play in November and I actually quite like how these guys did the characters!
playing steve rn and fuuuck this is the most ive ever spoken on stage
playing steve also and this is the first time ive ever been in a play
I'm playing Steve for our valentines day production so I came looking for some recordings of This Hurts
They seem to really forget their lines tho
I’m playing Marvalyn in my school’s play in December but I feel like she’s not supposed to be this peppy and energized...(correct me if I’m wrong) still a really impressive performance though!! ❤️
I played Steve and damn, looking back at it, Steve have the most lines lol.
Mans got game gotta hand it to em
Isn’t it funny that the actor’s name is Steve and playing this character whose name is Steve in this skit?
I played steve, so many marvalyns down in this comment section
MY BROTHER ROB GODDAMMIT
She's not supposed to be happy that he's in pain?
Well I think its just because it means he can feel now
He feel love now because she kissed him, that’s why she’s happy

I’m going to be playing Marvalyn in a scene for an acting class I’m in, and I really look forward to it! This is a great story.
