i dunno about ti 92 but the lines are very easy to fix on every other calc i fixed my ti83 plus you just take a flat solder blade heat it to the lowes temp and press where it connects to the board to readesive the adhesive costs 0$
@@cursedfox4942 Most legacy TI calculators have a horizontal and vertical ribon connector. The higher resolution ones (Voyage 200, 92 series, Nspire Clickpad and Touchpad) have very small LCD connectors, making the repair almost not worth it (subjective). Moreover, if the glue that's holding these connectors to the board is already too hardened, the fix is even less likely. 90 to 95 of the time, if the LCD on a higher resolution legacy TI goes out, it's definitive. Go watch "Project Voyage 200 repair [en]" here on UA-cam. It's an informative video.
@@napoliskey ya there’s mutiple videos on youtube my ti 83 had 10 lines on the display zero now or you can solder all new wires f that lol OR YOU CAN strip the contacts and solder but this is easier
I just found your channel. You have a very nice collection. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and keep on educating us. BTW, have you had the chance to review a NumWorks or a DM42 calculator?
I would love to find a box filled with all those calculator. Great find!
I just found this channel from this recommended vid, I can tell this channel will def satisfy my weird love for stuff like this
The TI 92 Plus has a much better display than the TI 92. You got a great deal there with some lovely powerful TI calculators. Thank you for sharing!
I hope you will show us how to update the firmware as I have a TI 92 Plus. Thank you.
I made 2 videos on how to upgrade it; with and without using a computer. Relatively easy to find on my page.

Thank you brother. I haven't yet came across either of those 2, but I eventually will review them.
why would this be a school lot they dont allow you to use the 92 which is so dumb tbh
Were any 92-II's or 92's with modules to turn it into a 92-II or 92+?
They all have 92 modules. The 92-II and 92+ module are hard to find, if not impossible.
How do you find these deals? Ebay or something?
Mostly eBay
@@calculator_boy thanks !
