The cool thing is that it wouldn't have to be an animated series about D&D, but just an animated series that happens to be inspired by it, which opens it up to a much larger audience that wouldn't normally watch a show about D&D. Super keen if it ever does happen - could even start with pre-stream material just to see how it goes, and then continue it past Kraghammer if it does well.
True its be no D&D game we know and love but if they did the voices even if it was different characters for the animated series, I'd still watch the heck out it.
I've always said an Animated series would never happen, but with each episode of the campaign it becomes more likely. I honestly believe now if they had the time and resources we'd already have it .
Everything AllDwight the fan animations are more than enough for me. An animated show sounds cool but it might not be needed. Then again if it was like the comic books and just explored their lives before the show or if it was focusing other people in the world it could be cool.

I love Nott so much, it's so amazing what Sam has done with her. I want to give her a hug at all times. Also it's really neat to have someone really play with the implications of a short-lived fantasy race, considering that it's much more common for fantasy races to be long-lived. Sometimes looking at Nott I think, "Is this how elves see humans?" The intensity of her devotion to Caleb, especially is so fascinating.
It's good to see Sam being Sam. I do sometimes worry he feels the need to be the funny guy and just make a lot of jokes. In this he's able to just speak and it's so nice to hear about his other creative talents and his insight too.
Totally agree about Sam. He really commits to his character and accepts the consequences with no complaints. As someone who has played with close to 100 players over the years (I used to be part of a club), I can say that players like Sam are a rarity.
Nott is a very, very special character to me. Sam has so beautifully fleshed out such a complex, nuanced character that really represents the experience of being a skittish, anxious person. One of my favorite characters ever, inside and outside of D&D.
I feel SAM, Laura, Ashley have the hardest characters to rp. Since they will be compared to campaign 1 characters, they need to be their own.
